Thinking of learning bass guitar but unable to decide

I am thinking of learning bass guitar but really unable to decide on the same. Should i move to the domain of bass guitaring or stick on with acoustic domain or rather change to the realm of rock music. I am really perplexed with this question. Which is much more attractive and fervent. I am really good at blues and jazz so im just thinking whether i should try rock music or rather switch to bass guitaring.

I LOVE guitar, but I am terrible at it.. I did learn, however, that playing bass comes almost natural to me, so I've taken it up and LOVE it!

Do what you think you love. Be it bass or acoustic.
or choose the one you really have the hang of. Plus if you know how to play the acoustic, you won't have a hard time learning the bass.
I myself wanted to learn the bass. I love it. Out of all the band instruments, I particularly love it. It's got its very deep low tone that is jazzy when played.
