doggy damage..

wall - the wall the dogs ate

Most of you may remember that I got my living room done up. I started a discussion because the stripes of my wallpaper went the opposite way than they usually go. Well it was short lived. My beautiful little furry babies, ie my dogs, who never do a thing wrong, were left on their own for obviously a bit too long, and devoured my wall! I have uploaded a picture. It has since been fixed, re-plastered, relined and re-papered, at a further expense of £150, and the dogs now have a giant play pen that pops up so they cannot get to the walls lol. Has your dog(s) every wrecked anything? What do you think of this?

Ohhhh, bad doggies!!!! I remember when my girls were just under a year and I had left them in the kennel whenever we went out, but started to leave them out and saw they did really well.. I have a cheap wardrobe, the frame is hard plastic and the cover is a clear lightweight plastic. So one day when we were going to be gone a little longer, I left them out and fortunately my husband and I split up, I went with my daughter somewhere while he came home to check on the dogs. That is because the girls went "wild" and torn into the wardrobe where I had everything from flags to banners to dance outfits and accessories and if I had found the mess, it would have torn me up. But since he did, he called me and I told him just throw away what is not savable and keep the rest, that way I don't know what they damaged beyond repair..

wow, now that's funny... I don't think the dogs went after any clothes, if they did I don't remember..I think they did tear into some fabric for the flags as well as the rods. I know one rod had bite marks in it.

oh my goodness!!! lol! i know it was probably terrible for you, but to hear that story it is so funny, imagining these two dogs tearing through clothes and what not lol! my chihuahua elvis got stuck in a bra of mine once, was walking round with a cup over his head, tangled in the straps, and trailing a cup beside him. the funniest bit was he kept jumping and barking at the cup because he thought someone was following him lol!!

Yeah, dogs always go crazy. They devastate the floor when you washed it. They come into my plate and have my food. Shares my milk with me. Do all the bad things in house. But in the other hand, they are the most useful creatures to the human in this world. they accompany me when i need a friends, plays with me, a good friend who never cheat. I am glad of my dog, i value their good against their bad.

oh i feel the same! i know people who would have got rid of their dogs or gave them away for causing damage.. but i just punished them, and then felt bad and cuddled them haha :)

Yeah, that s the best way to tame them. Show love and affection, they are all yours.

The only things that our dogs wrecked were our shoes! There was a time though when my dad was unaware that our dog was able to get into his office. Our dog spent the entire night, imprisoned in his office. The next day, his office table was in a mess!
