Hi! If you do this, you will have to manage your time well so you can balance both without driving yourself nuts. How long does your homework take per night? Can you find a boss that will truly understand that you are going through school and recognize your needs? Are you in a position to make a deal; if he lets you work 3-8 Tues. and Thurs. can you give him Saturday 10-6 as well? Hope it'll work out!

Actually,I always want to find a part-time job. However, our school lessons are indeed too much to do other things.Anyway,Part-time job can not only help us to earn some extra money to reduce the pressure of our parents but also let us contact the society.Part-time job is really a meaningful thing.

Honestly, I am looking for one, lol! There is nothing more relevant than having time to do something productive and earning at the same time, although the best way to handle this is really a good assessment of your time. Time management is important as this would determine the amount of attention you can spare for extra work other than your regular day-to-day activities.

It is normal over here that 12 years old already start working. They all have part time jobs. Same with students. You work to pay for your school or clothes or if you like to go out of have a vacation once a year. Many students work next to school or university if they can do it, it's very hard for me to believe you can not and it would effect your school work. The time you spend on the internet, mylot as well you can better use to work a few hours. You will have more contacts and also have a steady income. Perhaps you should write down (and be honest) how much time you spend (waste) on the internet, not studying at all.

Contributing your thoughts in myLot is a good practice and also you can earn here. Good job on doing your first step. Try checking your prefable job in Odesk and other job center sites, you may find one that suit your taste. Time management is a thing for students like you and you should follow. Easier said than done but I think, you can get used to it. Be patient and stay focused on your studies. Enjoy.

a part time job is good as this will help you to earn some money and you will learn how to be responsible and discover what else are your strengths. However just make sure that the schedule is good so that it will not affect your studies. Your studies is still your priority. Good luck :-)

i think getting a part time job is a great thing. you get to get out and meet people, make some money, and hey you never where it can lead too. go for it. it can only mess up your school work if you let it. So don't let it

when you are in school, it is a little tougher to carry on a part time job as well as working on your studies even if the money is needed. better maybe to concentrate on your studies.

I think you can balance your study and your part-time job well. After you graduate from school and look for a job, having the working experience will be beneficial for you to compete others. As you said, even if you didn't have the part-time job, you would still spend the time on internet and something else. If it doesn't affect your study, then having the part-time job will not have an effect on your study, too.

When I was in school, I have to admit that I personally found that working a part time job was something that actually helped me quite a bit in many ways. First of all, I was able to make some extra money that helped me out with my finances. In addition to that, I also found that the extra responsibility also taught me to be a lot more efficient with my study habits. I think that if you want to work a part time job that it is an overall great idea.

I spent one seventh of my junior year and senior year life in college doing part-time job, teaching English in a training center every Sunday. Some people worried about my school work as what you thought. However, it quickened my life pace and made everything more efficient actually. Because I had too much to do, I had to make plans for everything and follow my schedule carefully. Therefore, both my working and study ability got improved. I think you can manage it well as long as you balance those you want to do.

Part time job is good if it doesn't affect your studies. You can work online if you want. You can choose which jobs you should apply and the number of hours you can work. I was looking for a full time job online but I only landed with a par time job.

It's okay to feel a little bit worried about not able to balance school work with a part-time job...It's great to know that you think about school as your priority ...There are lots of students like you who have a part-time job in order to help whether it is with your tuition, personal expenses, etc ...There are lots of jobs out there where it can fit within your schedule or have flexibility... Having a job where you can show your skills, or even volunteering still looks good on a resume...

At my college they had a program called "Work Study" which was a part time job that allowed you to work up to maybe 20 hours per week and then after you did some of your work you were allowed by the supervisor to do some homework assignments or studying. Maybe you can find a job that is similar and if you tell your supervisor that you are a student and will need to have flexibility when starting they will likely help you find a schedule that will suit you! This way you can have a job, get some experience for when school is done, and you won't have to sacrifice your school work. Time management is an important skill and I have found that working while being in school is tough but it helps teach you how to balance everything! I think it definitely helped me grow as a person and as a student and employee!

I think that if you would like to get a part time job then you should go for it. It depends how good you are at school though. Are you the kind of person who always needs extra help, or are you the kind of person who can just breeze through it without having to put too much effort in? If you find school relatively easy, you could possibly take some extra hours on at a job for a month or so and then see what kind of effect it had on your education. You should be able to cope with both if you manage your time effectively.

A part time job is good. That means helping yourself and your parents. And as long as it does not have to interfere with your studies.

Ya you think in right way.You can do part time job instead of wasting time on internet. But may be part time job will affect you school time if you will not cop up with it properly. In opposite you can gain more knowledge from internet which you can' gain in part time job. After that based on that knowledge you can get good job. So you have to choose which option is best suited for you.....
