At least our WiFi here at the office is already working. Our internet router/hub as per our IT manager said that it was broken so he bought a new one that has built in WIFI router. But after it was installed, the WIFI router doesn't working. It occur for few months. Few minutes before the work hours is over, he asked me to try the WIFI of my phone if I could connect now. After few minutes of trying to connect my phone, finally it got connected and the internet connection was so fast. Now, we have free WIFI in the office so everyone could access internet in their phones and tablets for free. Do you have free WIFI in the office? They allow you to access it? Enjoy mylotting and have a great day everyone.

Oh, that's great to hear. We also have wifi at work. My boss doesn't know that we are accessing the net using his wifi. LOL. Our second to the last boarding house's wifi password is the same with his password so when we switch on our wifi, it gets automatically connected. We are so lucky knowing it. My boss is something weird. He doesn't want to see us relaxing, talking to other employees, bringing newspapers, books, brochures or catalogues, etc. He's so strict. I guess he doesn't want us to be happy. :(

Well your boss is quite a kill-joy. Having wifi could somehow help to take away stress from work while break time.

He definitely is. When we are talking to other employees, he will tell us " Don't talk." He's really something. So, it's better for us to shut up and do our jobs. LOL.

Most of establishments now have wifi for their customers or employees but some are private that requires password everytime we wanted to connect. Quite upsetting especially when we badly need an internet connection for a certain matter.

Enabling passwords in WiFi is a safeguard that unauthorized access is prevented. WiFi signal slows down when connected to many computers. If you want to access the WiFi of establishments, simply go there, buy some of their products, coffee for instance, and they would be willing to give you the Internet password. Those establishments need to earn also. There is no free ride in today's world.

Ardoy, i never have the chance to enjoy any wifi service when i was still working. All the wifi that are installed in the offices that i ever worked are protected with passwords. All my ex-bosses never allowed us to enjoy their wifi when we are working there. They only allowed us to use internet services during lunch break time. you are lucky that your boss is so much friendlier than all my ex-bosses.

I think your one of the few employees that could use the internet for leisure. As far a I know, most of companies doesn't want their employees to us its working hours for personal works. Many would even put this on their rules and regulation. I just hope that this "benefit" will not be abused by its employees. Enjoy while it lasts.

Well most of our work in the office are internet related so internet connection is really important. Wifi is quite a bonus to some who have wifi phones and tablets since all of the computers we are using have internet connections.

Good to hear that. As for me, we do have 3 wifi access to our office. But, our boss don't know we have the passwords to all those wifi because we only got it secretly from our IT guy..hehe. They don't want us to use it because the connection becomes slow when there are too many who uses it. They don't check our phones anyway, so they really wouldn't know we are using it as well as they do.

WiFi technology is one of the best invention of mankind. It makes students' and teachers' life easy. My LAN internet connection at home was at its best the first time I connected to it. A little later, I found it messy. My movement at home is restricted by the length of the cable that is installed. With wired internet you have to be immobile in one corner. A messy situation when to have a WiFi-enabled laptop. You cannot go upstairs. The idea of the wireless internet was a blessing. I purchase a modestly prices wireless router and installed it in just an hour and voila -- I already have wireless internet at home. I can have my Internet wherever I want to go inside the hours. An added factor-- the WiFi signal has a radius of 50 - 100 meters. My neighbors got my signal, too and I offered it for free provided they do not download movies because it slows down the connection. I got tracer and they are automatically disconnected when violations are made. WiFi is better than TV.

Nice to know that you let your neighbor to access from your wifi not unlike in our neighbor who dont shared their wifi at all. Technology is really evolving that is so useful in our daily life.

This is the first time that we have wifi that is accessible to all of us. Tablet user could now connect and use their tablets in updating apps that requires internet connection.
