There isn't enough time !!

There never seems to be enough time each day to get everything done. I'm a stay at home mom and you would think with me home all day that I would have all the time in the world...not the case at all! I do the normal day to day stuff with my 16 month old of feeding her, playing with her and taking her places. In between I try to manage to get dinner ready for the night, laundry, clean the house, shop for items we need. When she naps I am on this site or other online money making sites. I wish I had time to write more, read, exercise, and maybe just sit down and watch a TV show or movie. Maybe when my daughter gets older there will be more time for these things but by then I will probably go back to work. I just wish some days I could have another hour or two to get things done. Do you experience feeling this way that there just aren't enough hours in the day?

I can totally understand what you mean. I am a stay at home wife and you're right, we don't always have all the time in the world that we want. On top of the usual chores and errands, I am also the one who handles our current "project" and it is something that when requires you to go that certain place, you have to drop everything and arrange to go there. I am also the one who personally do the monitoring of our house construction, our banking and finances, and even to host dinners.

From the moment on I left home I said I would never wake up at 5.30am anymore (my mother forced us kids to do so to clean the house). Well I can tell you I did. You do if you have kids of your own, you do if you have a full time job or even are working for 80 hours a week next to your kids, own shelter etc. The only thing you can do to make time for you is living by a scedule. Plan when to do what and this includes watching a movie, doing some excercise or doing nothing for 30 min (just staring out of the window if fine as well). Don't make a full scedule since there are always things that come in between. If you don't calculate them you will get stress or you have no time for you. Skip the cooked meal once a week if it's easier, cook more and put what is left over in the freezer for an other time to make your life easier but above all: don't forget to enjoy your daughter. Before you know this period is over. Most of us are too tired to really enjoy it. I hope you do.

Thanks...you make very good points. Most importantly that I need to enjoy my time with my daughter. I know they grow up so fast.

Same here, Kemak. I had gone through your situation, a few years ago. Although my son is in Kindy stage now but still i am unable to find enough time for my online activities. I thought of trying to do lots of things but seems my time are always limited. There are just too many things need to handle daily. That's why, you can see me online only when i am really free from my offline matters. Happy posting in here...
