I used to have a dog and admit that I didn't always pick up the dog poop (WHEN IT WAS RUNNY)but at least I tried to cover it up with rocks or leaves. Lately there is so much dog crap in our complex and the office even put up little areas with doggie bags but nobody seems to use them. they put rocks all over our complex so sometimes it's hard to really be able to clean up after your pooch but once they crap on the sidewalk (Walkway} there is no excuse to not get something to clean it up with. Do you have doggie crap issues were you live?

Isn't that a health hazard? And no, sorry. I don't have that problem but I couldn't help respond. I can't believe that many people are that disgusting. Maybe complaining to the office would help. Do you ever see anyone actually just walking away and leaving it? Or do these lazy slobs try to walk their dogs when nobody's around? I'm amazed the office hasn't tried to level a fine or done something to clean it up. Ewwww. No wonder you're pizzed.

It's easier if you have a dog if you live in a house, I think. A small dog might be okay. Well, their policy doesn't seem to be working. Maybe everybody that moved in before the policy 4 years ago had a puppy. If that's the case there's going to be dog poop everywhere for a loooong time. Watch your step! And thanks for commenting! :D I do appreciate it.

hi, i have a dog but she only stayed inside of my house, this dog is a small type of dog and her poop is not big so i can easily pick it up and clean, but of course i still need to wipe it a water with soap so that the smell will remove too.i am thankful because i don't encounter any issues about my dog.

Yup, some dog owners did not pick up the dog poop, hence when I bring my son out for a walk, I always remind him to watch out for the dog poops. I have a dog and we always pick up the poops, as I think it's the responsibility of the dog owner to do so. Sometimes, we forgot to carry the poo bag, and we would go home and take the poo bag, then went back to the spot and picked it up. If we don't do so, it'll affect the environment, and trouble other people too. It's so nice of your office to even put up little areas with the doggie bags.

If you would consider the fact that our dogs refuse to go outside and use the bathroom, then I would say that I have huge issues with dog poop where I live. However, I at least have to give the girls credit that they do try to keep their messes on the hard linoleum floor as opposed to the one room in the house that has carpet. It is easier to clean up that way. It is my goal to get them pad trained because that would make cleaning up after them even easier than it is right now.

Good luck on that, I still think you should try to get them to go outside, after a while it will get smelly I'm sure.

We have poop and scoop laws in our city and they may have to get tough on people not taking care of business. I didn't notice a problem for a long time. All of a sudden you have to be careful where you step on the recreation trail near my home. It is more than a little annoying. If you're going to own a dog especially in a city...

My dog poops in our garden filled with grass so I can say its not a problem because the land will just absorb the poop and when it rains it vanishes very quickly. Also it can serve as a fertilizer for the garden so I have no problem with my dog's poop. happy mylotting

When I first had my dog I was living in a house and that's what I did but then my land lady sold the house and I moved to an apartment. It's really not good having a dog in an apartment

Agreed and then some! We live a house and frequently find piles in our front yard, even though there's an empty lot about a block away. Really?!! If you can't be bothered to pick up after your pet, at the very least, don't let them go in someone else's yard.

I think it is the responsibility of the dog owner to at least try to clean up after their dog. We have this problem too. I own a home and people walk their dog in my area. Their dog sometimes stops at our yard and does their business in my grass. I have dogs too but they never go in the front yard so I know my dog is not to blame for the mess but it is me that has to clean up my yard after other peoples dogs. I think this is very rude to leave and not try to clean up.

That's even worse I think....dogs pooping on your lawn in front of your house. I be sitting there watching to see who's dog is doing that. It's not the dogs fault but the owners
