Help about hubpages

I am thinking of going back to hubpages to write some quality hubs and earn a bit. What chance do I stand earning through hubpages. What is the potential there? But before saying anything, I have earned just 4 cents in September. Actually I got active there in the last week or so, and wrote about 5 hubs. They are showing a symbol - a green one indicating that the hub is progressing well and being indexed by search engines. However, the views just aren't increasing.
What do I do? Should I continue with the site or not? And one more thing, do I keep the copyright of the hubs I wrote? Can I use the content again?

Hubpages is probably my favorite site to write for. I received my very first payout on there in late August. My earnings on there vary. Some days I may earn around .50 cents or a little higher, and then others I may earn between .20 and .25 cents. The way to earn on Hubpages is to be social on the site. Read others hubs and leave them good quality comments. The community is very helpful, and people are good about returning comments etc. Share other peoples hubs as well, and they'll do the same for you. Just promote your hubs to the best of your ability, and you should see some results. Also, write often. Before I got active on Hubpages, I was earning around what you are now. I'm at almost 80 hubs now, and I'm working on my second payout now. To answer your question about republishing content, I know you can't post anything on Hubpages that you've published somewhere else. As far as republishing something you wrote on Hubpages, I'm not real sure. Good luck to you.

Wow. These are some positive signs for me. So, if I work there, I will also be earning. But by the way, earning $50 with around 80 hubs is incredible. I mean, you might have got some seriously high views. Or, did some other source of income help you out - like commissions etc?
I am by the same name on hubpages as is my username here. I will try to trace you over there and also read your hubs too. I am always curious to know what topics other hubbers are handling. So, that it will also give me some clues. Thanks for the guidance.
