How to stay positive?

My thoughts are so negative these days. And I really don't like it. I keep on thinking of bad scenarios, bad peoples arguments etc. Its popping on my mind, and it ruin my day. I need a lot of positive thoughts and things. I'm feeling like I'm not happy cuz of these dramas so I have to return on track. What can I do to stay positive? Does it has something to do with my diet? Or people around me ? Or what?

I'm so sorry to hear that. We may have a lot of suggestions here for you to do and act on BUT it's all up to you. You know yourself better that any of us. First, think of things that you know that makes you happy. Do you think what you are doing now is productive to you and your future? Life is so short to just waste it in thinking of negative things. Think of matters that would help you improve as a human being and would improve your way of living. Whatever I say, it's all up to you! Have a great day friend and get off that negative mode or mood. It's not good. Cheer up!

I think that sometimes being negative can become a habit. Like all habits, it can take some work to break, but it may not be so hard. One thing I do when I fall into being negative is to make it a point to count my blessings. I put a notebook by my bed and won't get up until I've recorded at least three things to be thankful for. Thinking about those things seems to make the day start out better. Then, make yourself smile, even if you don't want to. Smile at yourself, smile at someone else or just smile. Exercise or being active lifts the mood, too. I like to walk and it always helps.

Set goals in your life! Stay focused on them instead of the road that leads to it. Remind you of these goals everywhere (stick notes etc where ever possible). Pamper yourself, compliment yourself and don't listen to negative people.

I don't know everything that is going on in your life so there is no way that I am really able to pinpoint what it is that is making you feel negative about your life right now. I know for me, I was going through something like this last year and the reason that I felt this way was because of the fact that my husband was very sick with cancer and the stress of that was really weighing me down. I was able to help myself by taking a little bit of time out for myself on a regular basis and that made me feel a whole lot better and gave me a more positive outlook as well.

It's right that you come to mylot and there are lots of people are waiting to give you advices.Just be positive to things coz sometimes it is you who decide to go on doing things you want.So be cheerful to make it work.Attitude is so important.Hopefully this help.

Keeping a positive attitude and a positive mindset sometimes just isn't enough. Sometimes it also involves your surroundings, or environment, and even the people that you associate with. If you find that a lot of times it's the situation at home that is causing you to stress, maybe you need to spend a few minutes a day away from there and go to a calm quiet place to relax. Sometimes you need to ask yourself "Why am I having these bad thoughts? What happened to me that is triggering them?" If you figure out what really is causing you to have negative thoughts towards the world then maybe you can correct them. Then there comes a point in time where you have to reward yourself. Keep yourself busy by finding out new things about yourself like doing different activities to see if you have any weird, cool or unknown talent that you've never explored. you can also find out the different things that you like and that you no longer or never liked. You can also surround yourself with people who are positive, which you can find depending on where you work or your community. Ultimately, whenever something goes wrong remember to be resilient, and try to adapt to change. Life has its ups and downs, but always having a negative point of view without giving yourself a chance at happiness will tear you down.

a pleasant day to you zaga_cleuth, honestly it is quite difficult to stay positive especially if you are drowned into a not so good situation. however, life seems to be not really fair but we must not think the negative one as there are so much blessings we need to be thankful about. just thinking of those blessings which we are receiving daily will somehow help us to think positively. aside from that, perhaps, try to read some good passage from the good book, through this, a positive thought might arise.

hi zaga, May I suggest you to do some exercise everyday, because it can release happy hormones, and though you are not depress, I think you should leave this thoughts away, remember you are the one who control your life not the people who acted like they know it. I hope at least you can tell out is it the problem in workplace or at home?

feeling negative is normal,just as the positive thoughts.first thing you have to know is that you cannot think of it as a problem.it's like the day and night.you cannot stand the days having no nights,can you?so just take it easy and let it go,because no negtive feelings result in no positive ones.

Hi..I'm so sorry to hear about your hardship..We have the choice to push the negative thoughts out of our minds if we only focus on the positive things..You can start by having a good nights sleep. This will help you fight the negativity alot better..By having a good healthy diet will help to train your mind to be healthy and then you will feel a lot better..Going for a jog or a walk will help you deal with what's bothering you better..Exercise releases endorphins which gives you the feel-good feeling.. Try to focus the good things around you ie: the laughter of a child, the birds chirping, having good friends, the love of your family, things like that..Hope this helps..

Hi, Bad to hear that from you my friend. You should stay positive everyday. There are so many things to be happy for. Just think of your blessings from God. Just think of the things that you have now in your life that the others do not have.Just think who are the persons that makes you happy and be with them, spend your time with them.

It is easy to stay positive. Just think of the positive things and all will be positive in your life. whenever a negative thought comes in mind and cancel it with the positive one and you will see how easy it is. Hi friend, sad to hear about this..You have the ability to change your attitude, do it to get happiness in your life. Both positive feelings and thinking are important to live our life in a happy manner. We must have positive thoughts and attitudes before starting a work, if we have hope with our ability and start our work with positive energy, surely we will finish it in a good manner. Our positive feeling will create a positive vibration with us and it make us to do our work with a new energy. This kind of positive energy is needed to do anything in our life. Don't start any work without hope and confidence. A person who is having positive thing with positive attitude surely finish his work in a good manner and expect the victory.
