My Dad is taking my car to the guy tonight to be fixed. I cleared it out, as when I work a lot in the summer I tend to have anything and everything in my car. Now I just have to vacuum it, and steam clean it. There is some mould on the back floor in the backseat. The new rules is in my car no drinking, eating, smoking nothing not even a fart. Someone had a pop, and left the bottle on my floor (I never dit back there or go back there for that matter), and it dripped out on the floor. Now it has mould on it as the heat from the summer. I just think it was rude of the person to do this, and I know a handful of people who have been in my car so its one of them. If I was in someone elses car I would leave any garbage in there, I just find it so rude and iggnorant.

It is careless but I see stuff like it all the time. I get a little guilty. Mostly papers or sewing projects accumulate in the back seat. I take food trash out of the cars. Hubby cleans ours really regularly.

Okay well yes it is rude to leave trash in others car. I would not leave any trash in others car as well. Some people are just inconsiderate. Must notice them next time. The rule is good one and it will help you keep your car clean. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead

I agree, and I wont allow any eating or bringing anything into my car period. Noone has been in my car since, and thats how it will stay.

well, we do eat in our van most often out of necessity (like when we stop at Timmies on our way to church because we are late on a Sunday morning or we are going on a lengthy trip) and although we yell at our daughters to make sure there is nothing left there, often there is. we try to clean out the van about every couple of months so that helps keep it neat and tidy and fresh.

Honestly, I have to say that my car is always trashed. The reason that my car is always trashed is because of the fact that I do have two smaller children that are constantly with me in the car and no matter what I do, there is no way that I convince them that it only takes a second to take the trash out of the car when we get to where we are going. With that said, I have tried to make a rule of no eating or drinking in my car, but it has never worked out because I can't follow my own rule.
