My favorite teacher ditched me in class...

I do have problems in school but not towards my studies. My problem is about me being late in school everyday. There is this time when I came very late in school and I have missed almost half of her class. I went inside the room and everyone was looking at me. The whole class was quiet, their just staring at me and it feels really creepy. Then my teacher announced in a very loud voice "Class say good morning to your classmate, look how early she is!!!" Then she faced me and asked me,"So how's your sleep dear?" I felt really embarrassed and insulted. She also told me things that are really insulting and she said it right in front of the whole class. I felt really ashamed, i wanted to cry but i can't because i don't want her to see me crying. It's okay for me to be insulted like that, but to be insulted in front of everyone? That was too much! I never expected my favorite teacher would ditch me in class, make it EX-favorite teacher. Now, i never get late in school and for that i thank her...

Sometimes people need to be scolded or be insulted in order to realize their mistake. In your case, if you are not insulted by your teacher for sure you will always be late in class. It doesn't mean that you get scolded or insulted by your teacher, she would not care or love you anymore. This is what we called as reverse physiology approach. You learn your mistake/error once make you an insult. One thing you should learn is always follow the good ways.. be good..okay..

I guess it is better not to be friended with teachers. In fact, they are teachers and you are a student. In my opinion, I would prefer to do my best in class, not to impress my teacher but to improve myself. What do you think?

You're right Shavkat. I can say that i have improved a lot. Not only in my attitude but also in my studies. I'm in the top of the class now and i feel really happy that i have improved. And this time i am doing my best for myself and not for others. Thanks for responding...

So, how does your teacher feel for being the top of your class? sometimes it needed something like to awaken your hidden confidence in yourself. sometimes I wish had motivation like but the last time i had a motivation was because I had a girl friend and i didn't think i could excell that better, i remember the feeling but i don't feel that motivated anymore, anyways i've graduated already.

I hope she's happy about me being in the top of class. Well, this motivation thing is not all about her, I have my boyfriend and he's kinda my inspiration right now. I hope i'd get lucky in school now. By the way it's teachers day this 5th, so should I give her a present? What do you think LetranKnight?

I guess your teacher just got really angry. She should have spoken to you in private. It is good that you are on time for school now.

I had to...I want to regain back my dignity. It's just a matter of self discipline.

Well, congratulations to you, too bad she would never know that you liked her. but you know constantly being late is something bad for school, and as a teacher she can't afford to have students acting a bit lazy and late. at least she gave something to promote of, that's what teachers are for. . sad to know that you hate her now for what she did.

Well, at least now you will think twice before getting yourself late again in any class. You owe her that much, at least. While I do not exactly approve being insulted in front of anybody else, I don't think it would be that effective on you if she did it with just the two of you. Anyway, you will still meet lots of people far more insulting or mean than your teacher in real life. And for what's it's gonna make you feel, she's just doing her job: she's teaching you.

I guess you're right, it's only her job. But the insulting part? I doubt it... Still she's my teacher and I have to give her respect, right?
