These days I'm really depressed because the troubles about the new surroundings, the love, the study, etc. For many things I can't handle when the montain of pressure in front of me. I even don't know who I can pour out it to in this new city. Until last night I met my high school teacher on the Internet, he is such a kind and respectable person. When learned of my situation, he said "Ok, dear, I know, tell me your problems, just like tell your father. " Then we talked a lot, he teach me how to face the troubles, how to master my life, the most important he tell me he trust me forever. Now I'm really feel better, and want to say, thank you my teacher, for supporting me as a friend.

Hello there Paopaotong. It's good that you had someone who was ready to listen to you when you felt so sad and that was your teacher. :) We could really consider our teachers as our second parents that we could lean on them when we are feeling that some things are getting a bit strange in our lives. They are there to guide and inspire us. I think it's really difficult to be in a new place especially when you don't have anyone to share your feelings to yet. It's good that you had your teacher who was very supportive and who gave you some pieces of advice that you need. Just keep in mind the things he told you. I think you could make it through. Just have faith in yourself and do your best so you could achieve the goals you have in life. That is only one of the tests in a student's life. You might be away from your loved ones but that means you are one step closer to achieving your dreams. Just try your best to be happy and be strong. Don't think of the things that might bother you and just focus on the important things that you really need to do. You can do that. Just try your best to put a smile on your face. Don't be sad. I hope you could cope up with your new environment as soon as possible so you could enjoy your life again. May God bless you always. Happy myLotting to you. :)

In college, my professor in Psychology has inspired me so much that on the following year, I shifted my course from Accounting to Psychology. She made me realize that I was more interested in the study of human behavior than balancing bank statements. Until now, I'm still grateful to her for helping me make this major decision - it has shaped my future and made me what I am now. I too would like to thank her, my teacher and mentor, again and again.

It really helps to lighten the burden when we are able to pour it out to someone whom we know have tome to listen and understand our plea. Our teachers can also be good friends that we can rely on.

If you can't handle the pressure all the things/troubles you have to deal with make a list (what is keeping you busy). Ask yourself if this is really worth to invest so much time/energy in. Ask yourself what is most important to deal with, make a scedule, only do 2-3 things a day (many things will solve themselves other things can wait some time or will always come back so no need to do them first), also make time for you. To pamper yourself, to relax, to eat/drink, have social contacts (even if it's only by texting someone or emailing or calling for some minutes).

It is always good to have someone to talk to. Always remember though, that people are human and everyone makes mistakes, so even though you really admire and are thankful to this teacher, don't expect him to be perfect. He is NOT going to be perfect. When you feel alone, if you like to write, try keeping a journal. When we write things out, it can help us a great deal.

what you wrote reminds me of my senior high school teacher.I remember there was a time when i failed to do well in a test of a subject, and i cried . cuz i had always been a top student in that subject before that.my teacher saw me so sad,and then she sacrificed her rest time and talkd to me for about 45 minutes, relieved my pain a lot.i really aprreciate her.there have been 4 years since i graduated from senior high school, but my teacher and i still keep in touch with each other.when it is time for some special festivals, i will send a message to her through my cellphone.
