Cancelled Again :((

sometimes i am a plan freak. and sometimes plans don't push thru due to reasons we can't control. one of which is the weather. it is so unpredictable. it can change from day to day. it changes its course too at times. i can't count the number of times that plans for a trip/travel, meeting, dates, and celebs are cancelled. but it doesn't deter me from the fact that they could be postponed for the time being but some of them push thru another time. i am supposed to be in laguna for 3 days starting today. but due to a slight accident yesterday morning, i had a bit of a sprain. so i'm still nursing my left leg back to health and won't be able to travel. it sucks i know. but cheer up dear. you are not alone. hehe

Hi bhaby Ask me. I have many trips planned and cancelled each year becoming kind of a habit with me these days. Most of my trips are to another state for my medical checkups and they get cancelled at the last moment because I am unwell for undertaking the tiring 24+ hour long train journey. And then I call up the doctor and he prescribes me some medicines (and he does tell me that it is essential that I consult him in person and not over telephone). Then some of my plans go down the drain because my availability dates clash with the dates from my wife. And again to make matters worse, sometimes when we both are available, the relatives tell us that they are not

It was so very sad you had to cancel your trip for the second time due to bad weather. It is very sad to have a trip canceled at the last minute. In 2005 I booked a trip to Cancun in Mexico and I looked forward to my trip very much indeed. Then a hurricane hit the Mexican coast and at the time of my flight Cancun Airport was closed due to that natural disaster. I rang up a travel agent and asked to fly somewhere tropical for a low price. She said she had one seat left on a flight to the Maldives and a return two weeks later. I found the Maldives very expensive indeed. In 2006 I managed to fly to Cancun and see some of Central America. Good luck with having your trip at some other time and having some fine weather that is wonderful for traveling.

Think of it this way, the money you were saving up to spend on this trip you can save for the next and half twice as much money to spend and have twice as much fun. I hate that the weather proved to be an enemy to you this time, but hopefully next time it will be lovely enough for you to enjoy it immensely.

Yup, I have experience this type of cancellation.. You really can't tell the weather, you'll just pray that it will be a good one.. It was last year, my friends and I are planning to go to the mountains for trekking and caving, but unfortunately a storm came with strong winds and rain. The weather bureau announces a signal alarm for people to stay around. So basically we have to cancelled our trip, it is frustrating but we cannot risk our safety. We have families that care and love us, we just have to schedule our trip the next time when all are available..

What is wrong with having a trip if the weather is not so great as you expected? Sounds to me you are not in for a trip at all otherwise you would go.

Ohhh I'm sorry about that Bhaby, cheer up my friend we can meet tomorrow if you like or by Friday. I don't get sad when my trips are cancelled I just thought there are reason behind it that's why they were cancelled and it seems someone like an angel of mine guided me not to pursue my trip. I'm not a superstitious type of person but I believe if it is not mend to be don't push it. Okay so cheer up there are still more days to come.

Bhaby, hope you don't feel disappointed a lot that you have to cancel your vacation due to bad weather. In fact, myself had been disappointed by bad weather recently. Because my family and me had to cancelled our outings to a few interesting places due to raining season in my area here. Hope by next week, at least we can go to one of those interesting places. So, when you plan for another out of town trip?

Hello my dear friend! How are you? Well,all things happen for a reason my friend. Postponed plans always happen to us(my family) and sometimes it's too weird to notice the reasons why it was postponed,as if something is really preventing us from going. There was this incident that it was 3 times that our plan for swimming was postponed and so we decided not to pursue it anymore. All and everything were prepared and then last minute,a call from the office of my hubby called and he needs to report,so swimming was re-scheduled for the next day. But then,the day before the re-scheduled day,our grandma got sick and we are advised to visit her,so it was postponed again and re-scheduled next week. We were all excited then as we were thinking there's no more reason that our swimming will be postponed. But then our grandma got worse,she was hospitalized. It's bad to go swimming when our grandma is in the hospital. So since it was 3 times that it was not pushed through,so we just decided not to continue the swimming plan. We just kept the tickets for remembrance,lol!

Hi, I have experienced cancellation of trip many times. I feel very bad when this situation arises. In our city also weather is not good. Suddenly it starts raining with thunder and lightening. But we have to cancel our program due to own sickness or sickness of family member or some other reasons. But it is not good experience.

Well then this happens with most of the people and maybe someone else will be there with you who also missed thier trip all beacuse of this bad season weather. I will belive that you can choose a good timing to look into this vaction. It is better that you choose that is similar to the location but does not pose such problems like this that you face for each visit.

When I want to go to Bali Island, I have same experienced like you. I saw out side very dark. That's 01.00 pm but we can see storm every where. Very scary. We got delay more than 5 hours. I think it was okay. That's for our safety. After weather clear, I go to Bali Island safely

Aww thats really dissapointing for you to be all ready to go and then have the weather turn bad and not be able to take the trip at all. Where was it that you were going to go? It as rained here a lot lately here. Today though it was warm and humid. I was surprised.

Hi friend, I understand how it feels but don't feel bad about it,better to be safe than taking the risk,you still have more than 2 months to pursue some of your "trips" and we can also give you company if you wish too :) so cheer up!!!
