Hi all! I was wondering if any of you have ever tried 'The Regimen' skin care treatment at acne.org. And if so I just wanted to know how it worked for you. I saw a youtube video of a girl who tried it and her skin cleared up almost completely within a few weeks! But she did say that the first couple weeks her skin reddened and became flaky. That part worries me! I wouldn't want to go to school with flaky skin that can't be covered up with makeup (as far as I know). But I don't want to wait until the summer (as my sister suggested) because I have a trip coming up in January, and would love to have this done before that. So, even if you haven't tried 'The Regimen' do you have any tips about covering up flaky skin, so I don't have to worry about going to school? Thanks!

I haven't used it. I used foxtex soap and oxi 5 twice day. It helped. Also if you wash your face after every meal or snack it helps. The oil in your foods gets on your face and causes breakouts. Plain ol ivory type soap.

Well I ordered it. Haha. It's expesive, but for the amount you get it's really a good deal. And I also ordered a bottle of stuff that is suppose to help with the flakyness. I have tried SO much, so I just really wanted to try something that has gotten a lot of great reviews. The youtube video I watched is something I could not ignore. Check it out. You don't have to watch the whole video, just skip to the last minute of the video and look at her before and after pictures. My skin is nowhere near as bad as hers was, so hopefully it works just as well for me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7oUjKsGHA4

I forget what it is like to be young. I hope the stuff works. Go easy at first. The cream with benzol peroxide dries your kin out.

Yep thats what they tell you on their website. That it takes your skin about 2 weeks to get used to benzol peroxide, so it'll be flaky for 2-3 weeks. That's why I bought the extra stuff to put in the moisturizer, to try and help with the flakyness. And they do tell you to start off with a small amount of benxol peroxide, and to steadily increase the amount when your skin has a chance to get used to it.

Okay since it will make my skin flaky then I will not go for it. I have not followed this regime and have never heard of it. If the regime is all natural stuff from the pantry then maybe I will go for it but if it is some products which I will have to buy from the market is a NO NO. all the best to you. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead

i have tried all the natural things that they say to try, nothing has worked for me. I have tried a lot of different products that are suppose to work really well, but it has not worked for me. Check out the video I added to the response above yours, like I said above you can just skip to the last minute of her video and see the before and after photos. My skin is not anywhere near as bad as hers, but I'd still like to see results like hers!
