hey guys, u wont believe that just after taking my lunch, my eyes get automatically closed especially i cannot resist to keep myself awake and always find a bed to sleep immediately. in fact the day i am deprived of my afternoon nap, i get severe headache at night and i get the assurance that it is all because of the fact that i have not taken a nap during the afternoon hours. It has almost become a daily routine nowadays to take an afternoon nap after the lunch and believe me it was very tough during my school and college days to stay awake and listen to the lectures in the class after having my lunch break. Still some how i have managed to do it and now after my college is finally over i can sleep in the afternoon with ease and without any tensions. He he. What are your thoughts regarding this? R u also obsessed with the afternoon nap like me?

Thanks a ton for sharing your valuable response. Yes u are absolutely right, it is not an obsession for me in fact my body demands rest at this hour and hence i prefer taking rest in the afternoon hours. I do not want to feel weak feeble and tired in the evening just because i have not taken proper rest in the afternoon. So this is just what i have doing according to the demands of my body. What say?

Thanks a ton for your valuable response. Ha ha ha, well there is nothing to get envious for. To be very honest, since i have no work generally in the afternoon hours so i get lot of time to take rest in this slot. I do not try to sleep for hours but i try to sleep as much as it is required for me. I think for those who are not getting time for afternoon naps they must be wishing to get more time for the same. What say?

Thanks a ton for your response. Glad to hear that u do not have to battle afternoon nap issues like me. Yeah many people do not sleep in the afternoon and i find myself a lone breed sleeping in the afternoon. He he he. When did i talk about my weights issues dear? Anyways i am trying to work upon my obsession with the afternoon sleep and hopefully i can find a way out of it. Happy Mylotting! What say?

Thanks a ton for your response. Well yes u are very much correct, i get severe headache the moment i skip my afternoon nap. I remember a day very recently when i was on a trip and i had to stay awake during the afternoon and i got a very terrible headache at night that i had to skip my dinner meals and from that day i realized that i have developed a habit of taking rest in the afternoon otherwise i will get a headache at night. i am trying to improve and get over this habit. What say?

Thanks a ton for your response again. Yes glad to hear that u too were taking afternoon nap before but yes i would like to support u on this matter that an afternoon nap ruins u from a sound night sleep and this is the prominent case with me and that is the reason why i sleep late night. But since taking afternoon nap has become a habit for me, i cannot neglect it even if that demands a 30min afternoon nap. What say?

I know a lot of people who tend to go to sleep after their lunch, and it is a normal reaction after eating food because it makes your body want to rest for a while. However, whenever I have been to sleep at lunch time I have found that I feel more tired when I wake up again than I did before I went to sleep. It helps a lot if you try to cut carbohydrates out of your lunchtime diet and just eat those in an evening, as they can make you feel quite sleepy, so if you eat them in an evening then this would be a lot better as you would actually want to go to sleep then.

Hey thanks a ton for your lovely response. Well yes many of us would feel drowsy and sleepy after having lunch as our body automatically demands bed rest. Yes even i have felt the same that our body is more tired after getting from an afternoon nap and i am sure it is because of the carbohydrate contents in our lunch as u had said. I think i would follow your advise seriously in the coming days. What say?
