hey guys, yesterday after a tiring day i was taking rest at 8pm and since no body was at home, i had locked the doors and windows from inside. It so happened that a group of men had come to collect some money ahead of the festivals and seeing that our door is closed, they banged the door bell for numerous times and believe me i was in my deep sleep and when they did not stop, ultimately i was the one who suffered and my sleep was broken and i got up screaming. I could not tolerate the door bell ring and was totally in a devastating mood. Coincidentally at the same time, i got a call from one of my friend which took my anger to a different level. After some time, i took some water and then peacefully answered those people who had come to my house. What are your thoughts regarding this? Do u also behave the same way as me?

Me too. It pisses me off because I know that after i wake up I will have a hard time going back to bed again. My Mum's cell is always ringing at night and also early in the morning because of her line of work. Although I tell her to put it on vibrate she never listens and to make matters worse she talks very loud while she is on the phone. I am tired of complaining about this to her and i cannot wait to find a place of my own to have some peace and quiet.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. yes i cannot believe that u have just the exact case like me. My mom speaks over phone so loudly that even a person walking on the street can hear her voice. He he. She never pays heed to whatever i say and she is still doing it. Who on earth would not like to sleep at least peacefully after a fully hectic day. It is only at this time that we take rest just to get out of the hustle and bustle of the life. But still this is life and i have to deal with it with peace without creating any scene that would hurt her. What say?

ha ha really? i thought i was alone on this one. I am happy I have got you who understands what I am going through. My Mum also is forever doing it although I have told her about this several times. Yes I want to be able to sleep peacefully for once, without getting bothered. Yes that's life and we can only learn to cope with it as time passes by.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Ha ha ha. Well yes i also fall into your category, in fact we have this thing in common. Yes every time i give her a warning to lower down her voice while talking over phone, she agrees me fully but the moment she gets a call from her mother or from her sister, she forgets whatever she had promised and talks even at a voice higher than the previous voice and there she beats her own record in the process everytime. Ha ha ha. What say?

Oh, I am the totally opposite. I used to be a medical practitioner before I landed and settled into my teaching career. People practically wake me up any time of the day. Since then I get to learn to be patient and just do what service I can rendered. That's one reason I also left and also when i was younger I have a happy go lucky lfe style so that I will have a stable life, I switched careers. Hopefully I am enjoying it.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well glad to know that u are just the opposite of me and i am so happy for u that u do not get irritate and annoyed when someone wakes u up from your deep sleep and that speaks how professional u are and how much u love your work. i should learn something from u but i feel that after a fully hectic day i would always prefer to sleep at least peacefully as it is only at this time that we take rest just to get out of the hustle and bustle of the life but then i have to also learn how to be patient in such cases like u. What say?

I don't blame you from being irritated. My husband also losses his patience whenever being disturb. If a person had a very busy day and so tired, the only way to energize and be funstional again is to sleep. Maybe, I was just able to discipline myself because it is a need. Very soon I will be a mother so I am sure, my baby will be waking me up from time to time at night.

Hey thanks a ton for your response again. Yes your husband must also be getting irritated when he gets to hear any ring while taking rest and that is pretty much normal and natural to happen. Really hats off to u that u are such a disciplined person by nature and that will help u when your baby will wake u up from time to time at night. i am sure your baby will also be a disciplined person like u. What say?

Peace is so hard to find in this noisy world we live in, everything from mobile phones, to people always demanding of our time, it's intrusive. I hear you and I too would be angry, where I live we have noisy neighbours and noisy dogs, morning noon and night. I would love to live on my own away from everyone, away from society, I could cope, I prefer my own company and I love peace, I would love to be able to hear the sound of pure silence. Some people just do not have any respect for others.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. yes u are absolutely right, who on earth would not like to sleep at least peacefully after a fully hectic day. It is only at this time that we take rest just to get out of the hustle and bustle of the life. It would be simply annoying and irritating if u have so many disturbing elements like the ones u have mentioned above. I really agree to your point that there are certain people on earth have no respect and reverence for others in their eyes. What say?

I am exactly the same way! I am the biggest grouch ever when I get woken up out of a deep sleep by a doorbell or the phone. I am not a morning person at all and if I fall asleep in the middle of the day and someone knocking or calling wakes me up, they don't get the normally pleasant and sweet me, they get the yelling, screaming, stomping, cursing, throwing things person that just got woke up. And then I get myself so mad that I can't go back to sleep anyway lol. I don't like that I'm like that when I wake up. I know people that can just wake up and be merry as ever, but not me. I never have been able to just wake up and be happy-go-lucky. In the mornings I have to have my coffee or it will be a bad day for everyone. Lol
