I just saw a piece on Anderson where there was a hidden camera and two actors playing as rude and lazy service staff. One woman yelled at the service staff. A guy just was rude right back, He even threatened the guy! Another couple just walked away. My question is, what would you have done? Me? Once I knew I was not going to get the right service , I wouldn't get mad but even. I wouldn't call in the manager, you never know who slept with whom to get the job. No I would go home and write the company if it is a national chain and if it is Ma and Pop store Off to sending out the word here and at the BBB how no one should go there. Like the old commercial, I'd tell two friends and they would tell two friends and one would post it on Facebook and soon the proper revenge would be executed! I always say I have the right to be angry and only the proper revenge eases the anger. How about you?

I had two experiences of really bad customer service in the past. One was the first time I bought a car and I had put a deposit on a Toyota Corolla, and then the agent who not only became rude but also threatened me that I would loose my deposit because I changed my mind on the car. And the other was for celphone provider who mistakenly charged me $500 on my bill but had customer service reps who were rude when I pointed out their mistake and wanted my money back. Both times I researched the president of their companies and wrote my letter of complaint to the head office. And both instances I received a letter of written apology and my money back. But for smaller stores, it's easy to spread nowadays on how bad the service is through social network sites. And I think that's the proper revenge.

Well, I did not see that on Anderson. But I can tell you this, I would have went ballistic and I definitely would have complained. I, as a customer expect to be treated with respect. I am never rude unless I am dismissed. I hate being dismissed. And I hate pushy people. In an ice cream polar, I would ask for what I want and expect to get it without incident. But if the person behind the counter was nasty I would probably let him make my order and then throw the ice cream right in his face. And tell him where to go. Then I will complain to the manager, owner or company.

I would certainly let someone know....bu I would walk away before I gave them a chance to be rude to me.....that if I was standing in line. There is no excuse for this...and you do have a tendency to let everyone know..I would anyway. Like I did with the coupon deal at Shopko....I told everyone I knew! LOL
