I wonder Why....

I was just sitting here thinking about day and night how some days are sunny and others are cloudy some are hot and cold and some raining just all different days and nights but why is it we can go out in the day time and not be scared but there is something about the night being dark that scares some people and me one of them why am I scared of the night? I love night time. I just wondered why am I so scared of it? You think it is because I watch a lot of criminal shows? Or maybe I just grew up that way? I love Halloween which is around the corner but scared to death to answer my door on that day and will not be answering it my daughter is grown and moved away and we have no small Children but I know there are some in the neighborhood and feel bad about not answering for them. It just scares me. Does the night and the dark scare you too?

I think that having a fear of the dark has to do with the unknown. Scared of what is out there. Maybe you need to start opening that door on Halloween and meet your fears. Meet them and be brave. Nothing to be afraid of and nothing to do but get over this fear. Good luck!

Okay thanks and maybe I will open the door it is just last year I think we had like one trick or treater and I did not open the door.

Well, to be honest, I'm not afraid nor the day, nor will the night.
Perhaps the only thing that I fear, out of the house at night, it is in fact that meet on the street, bad-intentioned.
I am a lover of movies from horror and thriller, but I was not scared at all. I've seen a hugeness in my life, and when someone new comes out, I'm excited to see it as soon as possible.
The strange thing that I did not understand in your discussion is that you love the night, but admit to being afraid, a real strange thing!

I do love the night time I like to sit out on my back patio at night to watch the stars sometimes but to go out to like a store somewhere or even walk down the street at night that is what scares me about it and not sure why?
