It may not be as big a tragedy as 9/11, but still it was an incident which terrorizes hundreds of innocent people… The bombing in one of Bali’s most favorite bar and night club on 12 October 2002 has dramatically changed many lives. Here, many are sadly remembering the incident ten years ago as 88 out of the 202 victims were Australian. I’ve heard stories from some survivors of what happened and from families who lost their loved ones that tragic night. I can only come up with one conclusion that such terrorism and cowardly act have nothing but misery as consequences. Do you happen to remember the incident? Where were you when the bombing happened?

It will become the last anniversary for that case, cause usually its up to 10th anniversary. Like WTC tower and other accident. At that time, I'm still at Senior High School. Just watch the news from TV.

This year is more 'special' because it marks the tenth anniversary. But each year so far, I remember the incident was always mentioned in the news on its anniversary. I'd imagine it will still be remembered in the future too here as it affected so many Australians.

Yes, and college was more like almost 30 years ago for me... Watching my first born as freshmen in college now, I won't mind going back to school myself though... I guess I'll never be too old to go back to college and learn something new...

It will not be easy, to forget the incident. Because the incident was heartbreaking. I have no family, who become victims. But, I also feel the grief of the families victims. At that time, I was in Yogyakarta.
