rashes on skin

or that's what I think it;s called. what I refer to is red spots chicken pox like without any liquid in it. it is so itchy and depressing, looks ugly too. it's all over my face and body now due to the hot temperature. so I went to the doctor's and they only gave me talk powder. well it helps a bit because the talkum powder feels minty on my skin. but after two days using it, my skin got really really dry and how to say it, darker. the most irritating things is, the rashes don't go yet, and I think it's improved NOT in the good way. what would you do if you had this? and uh, how to make this a bit comfy? because it;s really so itchy it would drive you crazy from wanting to scratch it. I don't want to scratch because I tend to get stretch mark. help me please.

Hi kyrararen..i'm also experiencing rashes from time to time but not really that itchy..i just take some antihistamines and it will be gone.. What did the doctor told you? Try to consult to an allergologist maybe it's some kind of allergy..or skin asthma which normally surfaces during hot weather...

the doctor said it's something common and I should have been worried about it. he said usually babies have it. and I was like ok,doc. I never thought too far as an allergic, but yeah, maybe cause it only occurs during hot weather when the temperature is unbelievable (tried in sauna too). skin asthma? this is the first time I heard it. what is it? I know asthma but I don't know what skin asthma is.

I think your rashes is caused by the heat and I remember my son having one in her earlier years. What I did was just to dampen a cloth with warm water and place it over the affected area for sometime. I also gave some antihistamines to get rid of the itchy feeling.

Could that be prickly-heat? Most kids and babies have it when they are exposed in a humid day for quite some time. The usual cure for that is talcum powder. Maybe you should get a second opinion? Go to a different dermatologist. Or you may return to your doctor and tell them their prescription isn't working. Maybe it is also some sort of an allergic reaction to something you have eaten.
