Sigh, I want to take rest on Sunday also...

Yeah, it is Sunday today and i still went to the office to work on my thesis. I don't complete it yet while my advisor asked me many time going to Korea as soon as possible. I am running with time!!!
Some guys went to the office on Sunday too and one guy asked me why don't I go out for enjoy this life, why do i go to the office on Sunday? This is the second time he asked me, and i had to repeat my answer: i am busy with my study. 
Sigh, i want to take rest on Sunday also..
I "don't have time" to enjoy life this time by going out with friends or dating, but i do it in here while i am working on my thesis, that is listening to nice songs that i like. I feel better, have more energy to focus on my work. 
Hmmm, i hope i can complete my thesis soon, since i don't want to spend time in the office on Sunday anymore...

Yes, we have been working 5-6 days a week. And yet still got to work on Sunday is really tiring. Last time I use to work and study at the same time, most of my time spent on reading, research, daily eat, sleep and work...such a dull and repetitive life, so I can understand your wear out feeling. But no worries, once you complete your thesis, you will surely feel a great sense of achievement. Do take care and manage time well for work and studies respectively. I guess times have changed a lot since I was in school a long time ago. I worked all hours of night and on Saturday and Sunday when I was doing my masters degree thesis. I did the same thing when I was working on my Ph.D. and even went seven days and six nights one time with no sleep working in the lab taking data. I missed holidays with family regularly. Everyone did this. So I have trouble understanding your complaint. It is what you have to do to get an education especially with higher degrees. So I guess times have changed and school and the work required to get an advanced degree is less now.

oh, you already complete your Phd degree so that you know how hard to get that degree. Right now, the level to get it is not reduced at all, count enough journals(at least 2 SCI papers), English certificates such as TOEFL, toeic,etc..then students can defend their dissertation.
Hmm, i am tired with this study.

Yes your choice is good rest on Sunday because at least one day must be rest for body or mind both. Ohhh your thesis is complete congrats for it. I also like listen the music while working.

hi,
actually here in my work its for so long that i didn't have a rest day of Sunday,it because its my choice but there were times that i also need to have a rest day during Sunday especially when we are complete at home.i think i only had rest day with Sunday five times only this year.

if you want to take rest.just ignore them and spend time wisely so that you can utilise it best and with care for sure

Yes it feels very bad to work even at sunday. But still i makeout to give time to my girlfriend and my family equally. Whatever the situation is, I don't care. I stay totally proffessional only at office or at working time. Other then that i love to enjoy my life with my family and my girlfriend.
