Being Sunday - Holiday - what you prefer to have for Lunch

My friend can you tell me what usually you do or you prefer to do on Sunday or whenever you have holiday (those who are working or doing some business or student). I am sure each one must be having different plan to spend your holiday with your family member.
Regarding me since I am working lady, on Sunday I get up late then prepare special heavy breakfast for my Hubby and son. The special Lunch Non Veg. may be Chicken dish or fish dish which is compulsory and must have every Sunday. My son like chicken very much and hence even today I had prepared special chicken dish for his Lunch and dinner. But for lunch and dinner it is different menu. For Lunch it is Chicken Biryani and for dinner Fry Chicken with Bread and chicken friend Rice.
House what you prepare for your family members on sunday?
Husband can you tell us what you prefer that your sweet heart should prepare you for lunch and dinner on Sunday?
Other who are not married yet, then what you prefer your mummy should prepare for your Lunch and Dinner since she is at home being Sunday?

hi sri,
Well I am the one who cooked meals but there are times mom cook a meals and I love it specially if she brings it to the shop and I don't need to go home.
During holidays I am the one who is in charge in cooking

I am sure you must be missing your mom very much. But many girls who are away from their parent for studies and for job they learn from their mother and cook on their own. Same way after girl get married they have to cook the food for their husband and family member.

sundays are special day for families. it is the time of the week that family members find time to be together and spend time close to each other. when family is together, food is essential part of the gathering. usually the eating part is what brings people closer with the shared stories and anecdotes. i like the barbecue and cakes during these times.

Yes being Sunday every one is in home and meet each or discuss on dinning table. Dinning table is the best place to share views, discuss some family matter and enjoy the lunch. We do such thing when we want to discuss some matter

I live alone and I am retired so days are the same whether thwy are work days or holidays. But when I was younger and had my family with me, I made something special on Saturday and it would last me for Sunday. I either had roast chicken or roast beek with potatoes, rice and veggies. I made a nice dessert (a chomemade custard was a favorite). Now my special days are when I invite someone or when I`m invited.
