My Lot As My Weight Loss Diary

I am planning to lose weight and be more healthy. For life, I am going to commit to exercise more often, eat a balanced diet, never to smoke and drink alcoholic beverages again. I am not getting any younger that's why I really have to be more conscious about my health. I just got out from a bad relationship. I have learned that you have to surround yourself with positive people because it also has an impact in your life. I will post my weight loss progress in mylot and share some of my weight loss secret. Current weight: 180 lbs. Goal: 120 lbs in May 2013 Wish me luck, people.

yes indeed it's nice idea for u that you use my lot as your weight loss diary.Because it really do help us a lot especially that many people will advise and comment you about this matter.I am too is really a health conscious individual. I always do watch What I had eaten and as much as possible we should avoid vices that will just ruin our over all health.

Update on my weight loss. I have lost 8 lbs since the day I started this thread. I totally eliminated rice in my diet but right now I am adding it back. I eat 1/2 cup of rice per day and lots of veggies, walk for about an hour, and drink lots of water. I hope I can keep up. :D

Bravo! So happy that you have set your goal. 60lbs in 9 months, its a bit fast. You may loose fast for the first few pounds, it's the water. But after that, it will be quite hard. Loosing 1 lbs a week is already awesome. Sometimes, loosing the weight get a plateu point. So you may want to mix and match the types of exercise to make it more effective. If you did the same exercise, the muscle can memorize, so it won't be effective anymore. Track your calorie intake also. The other thing is also soda/sugar beverages. You have to cut sugar drink, like soda pop, not only alcholic beverage. Diet soda also still no good. Drink water, tea or fresh fruit juice (not bottle juice). Keep sharing your progress, and tricks that you use to make it happens. I love to hear it!

Hi! Yes, I know 60 lbs is a bit fast in 9 months, but I am using P90X and Insanity workouts and I am very strict when it comes to my diet so I think I can achieve that. I think the max interval training of P90X and Insanity workouts will beat the plateau. Thank you so much for sharing your tips. I really appreciate it. Shawn T says that it's better to eat whole fruits that to drink fruit juice. Here's my progress after 5 days of exercising. My legs are no longer aching when I walk for an hour. I eat foods that are low in carbohydrates. I do not believe in eliminating carbo in my diet to lose weight because when you do that your metabolism will crash plus your you will have less energy to perform exercises. I don't want to measure my weight yet. I will do that after a week of Insanity workouts.

Good luck with losing the weight that you are trying to shed. I have lost a lot of weight in the past couple of years, and have managed to lose over 115 pounds in total. I think that it is amazing, but one of the things that makes it a lot easier is by making it public, because it means that you are able to get help and advice from other people who have been in the situation that you're in at the moment. I would never have been able to lose the amount of weight that I did without the help of people who I have been talking to on the internet.

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing your weight loss experience. You are right about that, we need a push that's why we need to make our weight loss journey public. I am so thankful that there are a lot of people who are really helpful to me. I am so amazed by the fact that I am being motivated and encouraged by total strangers. Wow!

good luck on your diet. i also struggled with my weight a couple of months back and i tried exercising plus dieting but i didnt lose weight. i guess i was trying too hard because when i stopped trying i just lost weight naturally

Goodluck! And you're right, just always think positive and don't lose your focus. You're already one step closer to your goal by just having the positive start-up attitude. I hope you'll be able to keep up this positivity despite any trouble that may come your way.

Yes, I want my dieting and exercising to be a lifestyle. I don't want to go back to yo-yo dieting. It's awful because it actually makes your skin looser.

Good one. I am also on weight loss thing but get bored sometimes to do the exercise. I want to do it and I will do it. I am more in weight than you and I feel very bad when good clothes don't fit. i want to fit in those nice clothes. Hi! Just hang in there. Don't give up. What I do so that I will no get bored with my exercises, I usually do different workouts. I alternate strenuous and light exercises 6 days a week to lose weight. What kinds of exercises do you do?
