In the U.S, its a tough situation. Our country is in a downward spiral, and anyone who signs up for the job of President is in for a gigantic headache. I think what our last election has taught us is that running this country isn't easy and no matter who gets behind the wheel it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Hillary wouldn't touch this mess with a 10 foot pole. LOL. I'm afraid the people who are running now are running because they know no one else wants the job.

Like what I said before in youtube, the best candidates for the US elections this year didn't eve got close to polls. i think some people out there would choose Obama because "they have no choice" for some reason they didn't llike Mitt Romney's platforms and they didn't think he can do it very well in the next four years. the first debate was very clear that Obama wasn't prepared. some fox guys were telling he was unprotected because he didn't have a teleprompter wth him

Maybe the truth is, most potential candidates are just not good enough. Seems like most people running for presidency the past 20 years have been for selfish reasons and have done little to actually better our system. We need to start getting some people who are truly dedicated to helping the people and fixing the issues that remain within our government. People are struggling and that's mostly due to the poor decisions or lack of choices made by our former Presidents' and their advisors.

I think many good people don't want the beating they and possibly their families would have to take, whether deserved or undeserved, from their opponent and the media during the run up to the election. So much negative spin about each candidate is put out, much of it not even true but believed, that many don't think it's worth having their reputation ruined just for a job so hard and short lived as President of the United States.

I think you are right, being President in any country has to be a rough job 24-7.
