What is the best thing to do when your sad?

Everytime i'm sad i rather go somewhere that nice, quite and relaxing. I want to be peaceful i can think and relax. Relieve the tension, stress and sadness inside me. And then after that hang with friends and be happy. You guys, what do you mostly do when your sad? And where is the place you can relieve your sadness?

when i get sad or depressed, i pray and pop on some cheerful praise music by the Newsboys or Hillsong United which always lift my spirits.

Whenever I am sad I want to eat. ^_^ If I eat especially chocolates I just feel I am relief of sadness I feel inside. That was before I don't have baby yet. But now I have my baby he is everything to me. Just a small smile or a giggle all my blues and worries, pain just flown away. I just talk to him and embrace him I just found myself smiling and loosen up my stress in life.

Hello... I believe sadness can bring positive things too, like how you can visualize when the rain comes, it's dark and gloomy, but you know rain is essential for every living things. Sometimes when we become sad, that's the only time we give ourself a chance to reflect and remember things that we already forgot for a long time. Well I'm just saying that sometimes we remember important elements for ourselves when we are in sadness, because when we are in too much fun we frequently forget everything, but of course I'm not saying not to be happy, not to laugh or whatever, I'm just elaborating the other side of sadness which can also bring positive effects. As for the question, I love to go to mall and look at many great things, and great people, and if lucky, talk to someone, because you know, when you talk to someone, you'll actually feel good like you're absorbing his/her good energy. But before going anywhere from my home, I pray first and tell GOD everything what makes me sad, and give praise and thanks. :-)

Whenever I feel sad I just go on for a walk. Walking helps me think and refreshes my mind and my feelings. After that I feel okay again.

When I get sad I usually put on a dvd that will cheer me up, or sometimes when I need a good cry I will put on Titanic! that usually has me in tears! Not many films can do that for me, so it's quite therapeutic. Usually I find going to the gym helps my sadness, because I have to concentrate on the weights or I have my Ipod and I am simply lost in the music.

When i am sad, i on't really go to a certain 'place' to calm myself down but rather, i need to listen to my music, usually songs that i can relate to about the situation i am in that's making sad. It will definitely make me feel better because i feel like at least someone understands what i'm going through. It is never good to keep all this sadness bottled up in you as it would lead to so much negativity in s person and there's only so much a person can take before he/she does something stupid. So i recommend anyone to go talk to someone if you're sad, and i don't know if it would count as much, but you can talk to me anytime you want to if you feel like it. I've been told to be a good listener. :)

If you want to get free from sadness, first thing is you have to make immediate and active initiative to solve the problems due to which you are suffering from sadness. If its not the time to make initiative then make a timeline to solve it. And try to think that problems are matter of time and soon will be resolved. If you suffer from sadness for nothing then just try to make little hard jogging or exercise then everything will be ok. Most people in most of the time suffer from sadness due to long hanging problems. We must strive to solve the root of problems to eradicate sadness from life.

Just like you, I also go to a quiet and peaceful place where I could shout to my heart's content or I'll just sing because singing helps me relieve my stress.. I also talk to the plants for according to our guidance counselor in high school, by talking to them, we can transfer our negative energies that makes us feel better. :)

First of all you must acknowledged that feeling and then learn to live with it. Meditation also helps. Going out with friends also helps one to feel happy and to forget the sadness for a while. When I am sad I just listen to music though and stay in my little corner alone till I overcome my sadness.

Whenever I feel sad I will listen musics and watching movies to ease sadness that I felt inside. I use to clean the house and stay inside the house. I feel comfortable at home than spending my time outside when I feel sad. Happy mylotting!

listening music,,watching youtube,,playing guitar n sing also..lol place i would rather to go when i am sad is my bestfriend home,i do relief my stress n sadness to my bestfriend,crying loud n thats it..just let it out,,my feeling gonna be free..:) be happy forever cheers!!!

when i was sad i went to some better place stay alone.at that place is my tree house. i was stay long time in that.never anyone came to that place.because in near the Forrest.so few peoples stay my area.

I watch funny movies whenever I am sad that helps me a lot to get away with the sadness. I don't want to feel sadness eating me up-so the moment I felt lonely, I would call a friend to have someone to talk or have a walk.

When I'm sad, I just go to my room and listen to music and meditate. contemplate on things. Sometimes, I pray too. There is really no particular place that I go to I'm not really the type of person who gets sadness on my way. I pretend to be happy and smile despite the problems I'm facing.

I try to keep myself busy so I don't have to think about what I'm sad about. It doesn't always work though.

I usually sleep while listening to music. I also like to take long walks or long drives. It eases the loneliness and the anxieties I have. I also eat some chocolates or something sweet. and when all else fails, I seek the comfort of friends listening to every whim I'd have at the time. I also read books when I feel a bit down. It takes my mind off the problems and it teaches me new things while I'm at it.
