Oh Jerusalem, When Shall you have peace untreatened?

Jerusalem is called the City of David i the Bible. It is a historical place that I want to visit in God's own time. One thing that concerns me about this place is her security. How safe is the place? Since I've never been there, how peaceful is this city? There is a great danger that this city is facing- war. when shall this danger sops against this holy city, when shall she achieve such lasting peace?

Jerusalem is one of the oldest and holiest city in the world. It is considered a holy city to three of the oldest religion on earth( Judaism,Christianity and Islam). Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and is also it's premier tourist attraction. Jerusalem is relatively safe to visit, if you really intend to travel there. And just recently it is voted as one of the best cities for travelers in the world. Wish I could win the lotto jackpot so I can have money to visit this place.[em]rofl[/em

Well as a Christian, I want to visit one of the holiest city of Christianity, as well as by two other great religion. It is also great place where you can time travel by visiting old building and relive the past glory of the city. I play lotto once in a while. If I win, why not? Have a pleasant day. Ciao!

Of course we all want to visit this historical city. I was reading our friends post about their visit to the Holy Land, they enjoyed it much and had a wonderful time visiting the place where Jesus walked.

Hi! I would like to visit Jerusalem too someday. I may have asked the same questions as yours. Many tourists and nationalities visit Jerusalem every year. I think it is a safe place to visit. I think too that lasting peace would come to Jerusalem when the Second Coming of Jesus comes as prophesy.

Hi edvc77, I can only guess that you are a Christian like me. Thanks for posting in. There will never be lasting peace in this city by means of human effort. Only The Lord can give her the peace she yearns.

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well i can understand your desperation to visit Jerusalem which i believe is one of the most holiest and beautiful cities of the world and who would not live to have a visit to this place. I know it is becoming a strife torn place and there are chances that war might take place in this place but then i am pretty sure that the situation will return back to normalcy after certain time so that u cab give her a visit. What say?

Thank you for that beautiful wish for me. As a Christian, this place is one of the center of my interest and I will be happy to visit it when God allows it to happen. As for now, this desire remains in my dreams list.
