Most travelers likes to take flight or land travel at night because they think its more relaxing and it can be more less noise. For me I like to travel at night too and arrive in the day to my destination. Night time trip give a lot ease than day trip both land and air flight. But I want my wife to take a day time trip so she could be with at night time depend anyway from where she took the flight.:( lol. How about you what time do you prefer to travel.

For me the time of traveling is not a big issue. I just love traveling and I am capable of traveling at whatever time it is required. I am so happy that I do not get jet-lag. I rarely relax when I reach my destination, I just put my bag down when I arrive and go out.

I have flown through the night when travelling a reasonable long distance, but the majority of my trips have been 3 to 4 hours so I prefer to travel very early morning. The approach is the same because I prefer to arrive mid morning to allow me the daytime to travel to my accommodation and sort things out. I often travel to Spain, and if I can arrive at a convenient time then I prefer to use public transport rather then book a transfer. I find travelling this way is quite enjoyable and allows me to see the area better.

Hi montevilla, in local trip, I like to travel in the morning so that I could reach the destination right before sunset. still have some time idling about the street corner before having bath and dinner. Yeah, the next morning would be full of energy after a proper sweet sleep the whole night. I enjoy sightseeing and snatching photos of fascinating landscapes during daytime Have a nice day

I love night flights, they are really relaxing, but I prefer to travel according my arrival hour. So, I don't care when I'm in the road if I get there around the middle of the day(2-4pm) because I find it to be the best time to arrive in a new location - you have time to recover from the flight, to Take a nap, put your things in order and still have plenty of time to explore the new place.

I also prefer to travel at night. I love the soothing feeling of the cool air and quiet roads. However there are times I don't have that option. In our province transportation becomes rare when it gets late so it's better to travel when there is still light. Also travelling to unfamiliar places at night can be scary or dangerous. You run the fisk of getting lost among others. But if transportation wouldn't be a problem or if we're bringing our own car, then I'd say let's travel at night!

For a plane ride I prefer to have a night flight so I can sleep. Providing I get some sleep on the plane then the journey doesn't seem as long. I like to arrive in the morning time. That way I save on a nights accommodation. On a day flight I can feel uncomfortable on a long haul flight and bored. On a plane I have to have a pair of ear planes in my ears to stop ear pain. This means I can't listen to a film with head phones very easily. If it is a smooth ride then I take out the ear planes but have to put them back in at least two hours before landing. On a train I love the day journey in order to see the landscape. In the night I feel comfortable sleeping in a bunk. So I don't mind either the day or the night. I don't like to arrive late at night or in the early hours of the morning. I like to arrive when it is light outside not when it is dark. We traveled on some overnight coaches in South America and it was uncomfortable. However it let us travel a great distance. I travel with my two young kids. In the USA I arrived at midnight and it was outside my comfort level. The arrival into LA at that sort of time made me very nervous. On a train in the night whilst in some people thought change trains and some thought stay on the train. I am glad I got off the train because I did get to my destination: Prague. I would have arrived in Austria if I had stayed on that train.

I like to travel by plane to the destination in the morning. As usually the morning flights will not be delayed. And I can have more time when I arrive at the destination. Whereas I prefer to go home by plane in the afternoon or at night so that I can stay in the travel place for a little longer time. So my trip is worthy

I prefer night flights to arrive early in the morning to my destination. That way I can get acquainted with the place where I am before dusk sets. I doze in planes, but I don`t sleep much. It doesn`t have anything to do with relaxing: I wait until I`m on land to relax.

I always prefer to travel in such a way that I reach my destination right at sunrise time. This way, I will have time to freshen up and also be ready to explore the destination or meet my client depending on where I am. If it is my hometown that I arriving that I plan in such a way, I reach at night so that I can have a good nights sleep and be prepared for the office work as usual as a normal day.

I like to travel at night either. It's much more relaxing and I can sleep there and reach my destination when waking up. See, my hometown is like an 8 hour drive, so that is enough time for sleeping right. Conversely, a day time travel can be so stressful because of the traffic and the hot weather. My wife likes to travel at night too. I think, either way, night or day trip can be more exciting if we have our loved ones with us. Right? Thanks

I like to travel when ever I can.For financial reason's I have only been on 2 vacations in my lifetime,51 years. However I do want to go on more trips as I can afford it.I am hoping to get work where it will let me travel, but when I can,see I am a widow and still have a child in school. Therefore I need to travel according to the school calender. We would like to go in May or early December. But,the calender doesn't match those times.I am not too favorable on flying,I prefer to keep my feet on the ground..The one trip I took when I was 15 was on a bus trip for 3 days there and 3 days back. So,that was both day and night. The nights were better on the bus,not very comfortable, but less noise, stopping and traffic. When my daughter and I went in July to Disneyworld we took a train. We thought the seats would flip back for a more comfortable ride at night, but they did not go back far enough for comfort and the rooms to get a flat laying bed is expensive. We might do it though next time we go on a trip that is at night. The trip from Washington,DC to Florida was 19 hours! So,that was part day and night, but mostly night! If we had a room we would not mind that at all.Who knows maybe I might brave up and get on an airplane next time.

If I'm taking a flight, I prefer early-morning flights because there's less chance of delays. But if I'm driving. I'll start VERY early to avoid commuter traffic.

I prefer to travel by days specially if it is an out of town trip and by land. I would like to see and enjoy the scenery of the places that we are passing by.

Well, if we talk about travel in the summer, no doubt, for me the best time to travel, is in fact the night, as the day gets too hot. During the year, however I must say that for me it makes no difference. Perhaps a slight preference in the travel day, as I still find in the street (I suppose to travel by car), still shops open. Also I might need something to buy. There are many conflicting opinions on this subject I believe (and this is just my personal opinion) that the average of those who prefer to travel by day or night, is not far from 50%.

I prefer night time travel by bus and boat. It's really nice. I experienced traveling by bus. I started my trip at around 4pm and arrived at my destination at around 6am the next day.
