Stop eating Dogs!

Yes! There are people who killed street dogs just to make foods in my country. And I really feel pity for those helpless dogs being killed by those kind of people. They should even realized that dogs weren't created by God just to be killed and eat! :)

I had came to know that the some of the Sharma's are made by using dogs meat. The food inspector and other co-related members has proved it and such an incident was happened in my city. It was the day I was had stop eating it.

Dogs have become a permanety family member at least within the US; I can not speak for other countries because I do not know personally.. To even think that someone would kill a dog for human consumption.. That is unbelievable.. In all of situations I can see both view points; and this time it is a curse.. Let me make this point clear first.. I do not believe in or support the idea of someone eating man's best friend!! On the other hand if my family is stavring and there is nothing to eat.. I mean I tried lookiing every where hunting for other animals for miles and there was nothing.. Then I would just out of survivor and nothing else..

hi j, I saw in the news yesterday that they rescued dogs actually a 120 dogs in Cavite and they are planned to brought in Baguio and sell them in the market it is really sad that they treat animals in this way happy mylotting

I think that in the old days, Dogs are not really for eating. They use dogs as a companion to help them hunt for foods or simply to protect their masters. I don't understand why other people try to it them. I remember when i was 10, i saw my neighbor killed a dog and cooked it. Since then, i don't like to eat dogs. They said that dog meat is full of bacteria and worms even if you cooked it.

oh my god , i feel the same with you , i think should eating dags ; it's too crule !,dogs are very lovely and cute ,i love dogs very much , eating dogs is also not good for the people body health .

I think that it sad that people eat animals such as dogs. They are supposed to be man's best friend and most dogs are so friendly and just are looking for a good home or someone to befriend them and be their family, but instead they are being used for consumption. I love meat and all, but I would never want to eat an animal such as a dog or a cat. I could not do it.

Dogs is an indispensable part of our daily life. They can accompany our human being well. Although they are not the same race as people, most of family which have raised dogs regard them as the family members. I think this kind of emotion is the cornerstone of the movement aboat stopping eating dogs. they cannot stand watching their family member been hurt.

I know there are people who still eat dogs. I've seen some horrible pictures on the Internet about how they were slaughtering the poor dogs. I was speechless. I couldn't believe that people can do that nowadays. I wish they wouldn't eat dogs at all but their customs make them continue what they have learned from their ancestors.

In my country, there are certain areas that eat dog meat for they consider it as a way to fight the extreme weather of coldness or just plain to fight hunger. They have laws here that are created but not properly implemented. Hope we can find a way to eradicate it, for this is for the respect of animals. Thanks

I read somewhere that predators such as dogs, don't taste good. The meat of carnivores contains a high concentration of uric acid, which they get from eating the meat of other animals. That's why we don't eat bears, wolves, cats, dogs, lions, you name it. The meat tastes bitter and rancid even if perfectly fresh. Beside that, in New Zealand, it's legal to kill your family dog, barbecue it, and eat it. So long as you stun or belt the animal hard enough for it to be deemed a "humane" killing.

I agree. It just so sad to know the truth that some people eat Dog meats. I know some people and place here in our country are dog eaters. Sad to say that Baguio is the place where dogs have been reported sold for their meat. Why Baguio? well they said that eating dog meats will make their body temperature high or make them warm. I don't know if this is true but the act of eating dog meat is insane.

Yes brother you are absolutely right. Dogs are not good for the human body but harmful to it. Therefore Muslims not eat dogs. They called them haram!

Dogs are an animal that humans enjoy being around and many humans like myself treat dogs like there children. My dog is the world to me and i love him and hes a cuddler and i couldnt ever see anyone killing him to want to eat him its cruelty to animals and people that do such a thing should be punished and not alive themselves its rude to do something so mean so a kind loving animal like a dog.

Thanks for posting this discussion. Well yes u are right, it is such a barbarian act to eat dogs. i mean i am bot able to digest the fact that how people can consume dogs. Dogs are such animals on earth who can sacrifice their own lives for us and what are v doing to them. We are eating them and this is such an insult to all the humanity. What say?

okay I have not been to a place where they eat dogs. I have seen dogs on the road and they are too much and it is good that people care for the dogs and do not eat them. They are suppose to be men's best friend. I would not like it also if someone eat dogs, I have no idea why they are not good to human body but because I love dogs i would not like people eating them. One never knows that a certain dog has a rabies unless the dog has bitten someone. So it is never a safe one to be eaten. But i really wonder why one has the nerve to eat this animal thinking it is not safe and thinking dogs are our bestfriend. Dogs are to be cared and loved and not to be eaten. I don't know where is the heart of this people , dogs are so cute , can make us relax , can protect us and can be our companion.

Thinking of people that are eating dog meat made me goosebumps. I don't like them all but I don't want them to get imprisoned too, but I want them to stop doing it not because they're afraid of the law but because they simply hate doing it. I saw on the news the other day that there loads of dogs that was being rescued. The dogs were about to be brought to a certain place where they will be killed and cook. The thought of it makes me want to throw up. How could some people so cruel in doing such things.

Dogs are our human being friends.We should get along well with them.And dogs can prevent us from being injured when we are in trouble.But dogs also add us many problems which make us have prejudice to them .In a word ,I do think that we'd better care for dogs.What do you think that ?
