I got herpes on my lips

It was the horrible past 2 weeks. I got herpes on the corner of my mouth, actually, it was on the lips. I couldn't open my mouth wide, and I couldn't eat anything at all. It hurts when the lips touch whatever go through the mouth. I have to go through online advice, and friend's advice on this "Abreva" over the counter chapstick, it helps a bit. Later, I also see a doctor for it, and he prescribed some cream for me. Now, I feel much better, and I can eat again. I hate this, but it was virus from my body as the doctor explain it to me. I hope that I would never get this again.

There is a big difference between having a random cold sore & having herpes. Herpes never actually "leaves" your body, you just don't see it until you have an outbreak. Meaning the cold sores. Do some research about where that cold sore might've come from.

I think your been lacking into some kind of vitamins like vitamin B and C.
It happened to my friend and the doctor told her to maintain vitamins B and C
so it will not happened again.

Sound gross lol , happy you are feeling better and I hope you never get it again . I have never gotten it , get your immune system up especially in the winter drink a lot of orange juice .

This is uncomfortable, but not a real illness. It will be gone in a few days. Cream only help with the symptoms: the virus follows its course. It`s contagious, so don`t kiss anyone and wash everything you put into your mouth very well.

Some of the manifestations of this virus can be seen on the lips. But not to worry, it will be gone in a week or so. Just keep healthy!

Welcome to the 75% of the population that has this disease. The bad news is it is a life sentence, you will get occasional outbreaks from now on. Abreva should work really well, but it's so expensive. A friend of mine used it for the same problem and it cleared up after a couple days.
