I am so excited we leave tomorrow after my son gets out of work to go see my mom I have not saw my mom since Mother's day. I will also get to see my baby sister and my nieces and my brother in law. My husbands band will be playing at the eagle's club by my mom and one other place on the way home. The bad part about the trip is it is a 12 hour drive and we will only be spending one night at my moms because we have to be at the bands next gig at noon to set up for their show at 4 then after the show we will be heading home.

i feel the same with you ,i have not saw my mom long time , because i had to study in other area , it's far from my hometown . i miss my family amd mom and dad relatives . we should spending some time with my family even if the busy work,or hard study .

I wish I could see my mom and sisters more and the rest of my family as well. I sure will enjoy my time with my family getting the rest of my clothes washed and packed and then I am off to bed.

hope you have a great time with your family, i know , i feel so excited when ever i meet my family (grand parents) who live away some five hours drive from our city. But we really feel like living together, they like to live in village.
I think your husband cant join you as he will be busy with the band, right? Hope he too gets time .

My daughter lives at least that far from here, depending on who is driving. I think it is good to at least get to see family a little by combining a business trip with a visit.

It sure is good got some business in and also got to see my family at the same time what could be better. The bad part about the trip is sitting for a long time and your butt falling asleep. But I did the best thing to make the time go faster I slept .

The 12 hour drive sounds awful but getting to see your mother and your sister and your neices sounds wonderful. The max I can drive is about 5 hours. I just cant stand being in a car longer then that. I get restless legs so bad at night after riding for more then a few hours. Then I cant sleep and I'm tired and its terrible. I hope you have a great time on your travels.

Yeah it is awful but I made the time pass good and fast I slept most it that helped. The best part of the trip was seeing my family and getting to spend time with them.I had a great time with everyone and my nieces enjoyed playing with my daughter. I felt so sorry for my daughter she was being pulled both ways between my 2 nieces. But she had fun playing with them. I just wish I lived closer so they could play together all the time.
