I never attend any calls, in the middle of the sleep. Rather i wait until other family members attend it. hehe. But mostly i keep the phone in silent mode at night. so no problem at all.

But what if the call is urgent from your relatives or friends? If like you other members to remain quite with the intention that some one else will get up & take the phone. I never keep my mobile on silent mode it is 24X7 Hours always on

This is nice on their part giving call to your mother as they must be knowing that she will act immediately

That's what you have to do check the number first and if it from known person then attend it without fail. I too do the same thing as I have stored the number with their names in my mobile.

I hate it when my phone rings when am sleeping. But I just pick it up immediately to prevent it from ringing more. It just annoys me when it keeps ringing ringing more....

hey what you are doing i.e. attending the phone in the middle of the night is very good as we all knew only when there is emergency our relatives or friends call us on phone

If my phone ring in the middle of the night and if my husband or other member of the family is calling i will answer it immediately because i know it's emergency or very important matters. But if the calls are came from someone who's not registered on my phone i rather hanged up and go back to sleep.

Such action is the right action We all knew no will call anyone in the middle of the night and specially family members. Only in emergency they will first call the close and near person. Nice share my friend

If someone is calling in the middle of the night I will answer it fast! No one calls me late at night so if they did I would answer right away because most likely it would be an emergency!

Yes what you will do is the correct one as we don't know who is calling and for what. One must take the phone since it may some of our family member who may be in some need or danger

By the time it wakes us up enough to notice it, it may have already been the second or even third ring. I don't answer it unless it it is something important, but at that hour it usually is. I will answer it as quickly as I possibly can, and if I didn't get it in time I'd call them right back.

Thanks for the view. In my case I do take the phone at first ring, see whose it is and then only accept the call, other wise no.
