I keep returning to some places for vacations.

I went to Aruba for the first time over ten years ago. I stayed in a resort where a friend had a timeshare and we loved it so much that we bought a week. The weather was totally wonderful and so was the wonderful Caribbean. Over the years I have gone there several times and each of them has been wonderful. The timeshare has made possible for me to exvjhange the week for weeks in other places and that has been wonderful too. But still, once in a while, I like to return to the happy island. Do you have such a place where you keep on going and never get tired of it? Share! !

My theory is that there are 1000's of places to visit so I got to make the most out of each trip. If I think I can return at any given time I will most likely not be as outgoing and busy. I can relate to those who like to return to set places as they know the vacation is going to be a success.

I agree to that. And I think that where you go on a certain moment depends on what you want to do in a certain moment of your life.

The only place that me and family went for a vacation was in Manila. We cannot return often because of the expenses we have to incur. If we have to visit some place, we just have to do this on our place because we also have a lot of tourist destination in our place. one of that is the Mayon Volcano. Have a nice day!

Most of the places we live on have their beauty, but many times we prefer to go elsewhere for vacations

Yes i also keep returning to Bangkok and Hat Yai in Thailand for vacations. That is because firstly the exchange rate is good , The food is nice and the service second to none. Thailand is a highly recommended vacation spot for everyone in the world yea. Plus they have interesting hotel/motel all over so do some research before you head over there.

It is very important that you csn choose well where to stay at a vacation place. I had some trouble with an extra night I had to stay in my last vacations, but fortunatly the resort`s manager solved it for me.

For a time in the 80's it was the beach. From 1981 til 1985 every summer we would take a road trip to the beach. It was fun. Now? I don't care if I get to the beach or not. The one place I wish I could see is Chicago.

I'm not too far away , about 90 minutes by plane. I'm 8 miles southwest of Washington D.C. maybe one day I'll get there.

Where do you live? Isit too far from Chicago? I have been there a couple of times. Now I prefer beaches instead of cities, unless I go with someone else.

Sure you will! I got there and I live in South America. Still, I found that Washington D.C. was a lot more interesting.

Hello marguicha! Having a timeshare is a great chance to take lovely vacations! My mother has one since 25 years ago, and we have travelled aboard and to many national places, but I love to return to Puerto Vallarta, where is the place that my hubb and I have gone 15 days ago. It is like being home, because you know everything of the place. Where are the pools, the restaurants, bus stops, gym, groceries stores! Blessings marguicha... dainy

I have never been to Puerto Vallarta, although I have been in several places in Mexico. I think I might still make it as I love Mexico very much.

Hi,Good morning, This is my first response today. I just checked your other discussions about Aruba, posted about 2 years ago. Best language in the world "finger". you were with your husband that time right? Would have been many great moments. If you visit the place again and again ,this shows how much you like it. And the memories attached with it. I never revisited any place till now, but i would like to. May be when i settle well and have good bank balance.

The first two times I went there with my husband. Aruba is very close to my heart as my husband was already very ill when we went there for the first time. He had so much fun that if seemed that he had shed his illness there. That prompted me to buy a timeshare there. I think that was the money best spent ever.

This is something that I have never done yet, irrespective of how much I enjoyed the holiday. I have been to many places that I have liked but usually considered that it was better to try somewhere different next time. I adore Spain and have been on holiday there more than a dozen times, although I have always booked a different resort rather then go somewhere that I have already seen. I have been tempted to return to a few countries, but with so many others that I have not visited I end up trying something different in the end.

I love Spain. I have gone there twice. The last time, the best, we went to the south of Spain. We rented a car and traveled through all Andalusia. The small towns, the cities, the rests of the Arab culture, all were magnificent.

Hello my dear friend. I know how much you love it in Aruba. I think the Caribbean warmth is ideal for you. It was lovely that you bought a time share week and can swap it sometimes to go to other destinations. I have favorite destinations and also I have a long list of places on my travel wish list for the future. My favorite cities are Sydney, Cape Town and Vancouver. I was very impressed with Rio which I went to earlier this year and Cartagena De Indias which I visited last year. My favorite countries are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and the Seychelles. I couldn't return to the same place for a vacation because there are so many new places to visit. I do visit some towns and villages near my home locality though like Glastonbury, Wells and Cardiff.

My dear friend Marguicha. I really enjoyed visiting you and think your house was very comfortable. Having felt those two earthquakes I wasn't keen on going to the south of Chile at that time. Yes, we loved it at Iguazu Falls. You know I found the Argentina side rustic and charming. There were lots of trees and then magical views of the waterfalls. Wow! On the side in Brazil it was more modern and that day the weather wasn't as sunny. We walked across the road to the bird park after seeing the waterfalls. Leo adored seeing the birds and again I said wow. We had such a wonderful trip and I won't ever forget it. We found Rio very exciting at Easter time. I adore South America and it is a shame it is an expensive flight away. Chile is a lovely country and I feel there is so much more worth seeing there.

I want to go to Buenos Aires son, for a short visit. For me it is unexpensive because I will have the lodgings paid for with my timeshare. And although i have to pay for it, I have to do it whether I use the week or not.

Dear Maxine, I know that you need to see new places and landscapes. I still feel sorry that those earthquakes prevented you from going to the south of Chile. But then maybe you would not have time to visit Iguazu.

No, marguicha, I do not have any particular place I keep returning to for vacations but I do have places that I have visited a few times and would love to visit them again. I am particularly fund of Europe. I loved visited France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Lichtenstein. Asia was nice too, South Korea was a rare treat that I sampled twice. I would love to see all of these places again and add India and Canada to the list. Opps! I think my bucket list just got longer.

Dear roberten, It seems that our list for places to travel is always growing. I think that it is good that we don`t have all the money in the world nor the time. This way we can dream and that is part of the wonder of it.

I do have such wonderful places where i will like to return again and again whenever i got a chance. They are mainly islands resorts that gave me unforgetable experience with nice memories, they constituted the best part of all my travelling past. I don't think i will ever get tire of visiting few of these favorite places inside my mind even if i go back again visiting in the future.

I actually do continue to return to the same areas for vacation. I would actually like to broaden my horizons a bit though. I usually go to Florida. I like Daytona and Destin the best but I think there are other places that I would really like to visit. Some of it is because I enjoy the area but some of it is just because I know the area and it is convenient. I would love to visit some of those places you mentioned. I bet they are amazing.

I have been to Florida several times as I used to have friends living there. But there are so many beautiful places in the US even if you don`t want to travel abroad.

Hi Marg, indeed there are certain places which i have the interest to keep visiting them. In fact, there many more places which i can always choose for vacation but i always prefer that village area of my relatives. It is a lovely place where i can feel warm welcome from itsvillagers and can eat my favorite food without the need to spend much. Now, I am waiting for my son to have his coming school break, so i can arrange another short vacation to that village again. Have a nice weekend, friend.

Going to where our loved ones are mean more than just visiting a place. There we gather our memories, we share them and we make others.

Unfortunately we don't have the opportunity to vacation on a regular basis so I really haven't found one of those kinds of places in my life. I mean I did have the opportunity to visit Phoenix for the first time in my life when I was fifteen years old and I really did love it, we were there for two weeks. Then five and a half years ago I had the opportunity to go again and we did and it was again something that I really liked. I would love to have the opportunity to go out to Arizona again in the future as well.

I hope you will, dear. We did not have much money for vacations with my husband when the kids were growing. It was later that we could manage to gather our pennies and get enough to go for vacations.

My favorite place that i keep on visiting almost twice every year is Boracay Island. I feel at home and at peace when i am with my whole family. I try some other resort and vacation places but my heart really love the place.

I never tire of going to our country's summer capital, Baguio. One of the reasons why I love going back is that I can walk in the parks there because the climate is cool. I also love going to the market because of the cheap, fresh produce. My friends and I have gone father north, Sagada, which is a place we would like to go back to. But that would probably be by next year since we are all busy right now.

I try to go away from cool places, but maybe it is because the temperature in our Winter is cold, not cool. I have talked to friends here and some have too high temperatures, even for me.
