Great Bollywood producer director not with us. His latest film "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" is releasing on 13 November. He is know for his super hit films, Dhool Ka Phool", Waqt" Hamraaj, Daag and many more hit films. Although first hit film "Zanzeer"of Amitabh Bacchan was directed by Praksh Mehra but Amit got stardum from Deewar. It was directed by Yash Raj Chopra. Come back film "Mohbatain" of Amitabh was also directed by Yash Raj.

He was an icon of hindi cinema, brought in a lot of quality and aesthetics into film making.Almost all his films were good entertainers with excellent songs and beautiful locales...he will be missed no doubt, but he has left a great legacy through his films which will be there forever !

I had not heard of this person until now. I am going to look him up on the Internet and perhaps, in the future, look at some of his films.

I have heard of Yash Chopra but I am not sure if I had already watched one of the films he directed. I'm not an Indian but I do sometimes watched bollywood films because I'm a fan of Shahid Kapoor.
