Maybe there are lost connection on your unit. You need to show your Notebook to a professional technician so that they can determine which part are defective. You didn't mention if it is new or old. You Notebook a newly purchased or an old stuff given from your parents?

Connect a usb keyboard to your notebook and if all keys are functioning well, then your keyboard is defective or probably need some cleaning. Try vacuuming the keyboard it may be dirty and some food debris probably lodge in and interfering with your keys.

If you know how to open it then maybe you just need to clean it. Some keys on my laptop stopped working before and it turned out there were ants inside the computer. Now if you're aary of voiding the warranty by opening it up then you should just contact technical support for assistance.

If your notebook is under guarantee then call the customer care and complaint for it. But if not under guarantee then call the Computer repair person. Because still I not heard this type of complain in laptop.

Thanks for posting this discussion. Well i can understand your situation and i think u should go to the shop where u got your notebook so that they can detect if they had given u a defective piece or not. Nowadays many defective pieces are being sold and they get worn out after some days of its use, its better u go to the shop u got this notebook and intimate your problem to them. What say?
