Now the dengue pandemic..

Hey guys, dengue has come to haunt again in India that has claimed so many lives so far and such has been its pandemic that we lost our very beloved and one of the finest Bollywood director Yash Chopra due to dengue fever. I think nothing is being done regarding spreading the awareness of dengue fever and that is the reason most of the people are even unaware of what is to be done when dengue strikes them. Unless and until we do not have initiative from any side, we will get to hear more news coming about the deaths caused due to dengue. What are your thoughts regarding this? Please leave your valuable thoughts!

Thanks a ton for your response. Well dengue is a fever caused when certain species of mosquitoes who are born in the drain water stinks us. They are so deadly that if we are not detected on time it will take away our lives. These mosquitoes most breed on drain water, waste materials, etc. U will have high fever for a prolonged time and red spots all over your body. There is treatment for this if detected on time. It is not at all contagious and is also present in other countries. We have to avoid water getting accumulated during the rains or avoid any drain to be open publicly. What say?

Thanks a ton for your response again. Oh yes u are correct, actually mosquitoes carry so many viruses with them that they can cause many deadly diseases if ever they stink us and dengue like malaria is one of their byproducts that has been causing havoc now in India. The officials have to get up from their seat and work to make all the municipalities clean. Were u unaware of this deadly disease before? What say?

Thanks a ton for your response. Yes it is disappointing to know that in this age of modern science and technology even such diseases have not been under our control due to which it has been claiming lives of many people. This disease is no more restricted to rural areas but cities have also come under its ambit. We educated people are also falling into this trap and its high time that we are aware of how to tackle the dengue before it strikes us. What say?
