In my earlier discussion I mentioned how I was going to pick out courses for next semester and see which ones I needed out of the requirements. So I checked over all the courses I've taken and I looked at all the ones I need. It turns out I only need 3 more courses in order to complete my undergraduate program!! I do have to ask my adviser one question about whether or not my math credits fulfill both the general requirement as well as my psychology requirement. If not, then I'd need an extra math class. Either way, I can finish up by next May. I'm really excited because I originally thought that I'd be about done by next fall but May is a lot sooner and then I can get started on my master's. This is great because by the time my boyfriend is out of the army I'll be done with school and I'd most likely be getting into my career. I'm just so shocked that I'm going to be done so soon! I can't stop thinking about it and it's just so cool to me! I'm only in my 3rd year and I thought I'd still have a little more to go but I guess not. Now I'm really looking forward to next semester :)

Congrats Court! I'm very proud for you and your accomplishments. You are so young and already so far in your education. What do you plan on doing when you graduate? Are you going to be a therapist? They make $100 an hour here in Georgia.

Thank you so much :) I'm very excited and happy that I can finish so early. After I graduate I'll have to go to school for another year or two. I'll either get my master's in social work so I can basically work as a psychiatrist or there's another program that's only a year long and it would let me practice as a psychologist or therapist. I know two people who have done that and have been in their careers so I'm going to find out from them and then decide from there. In the end I'd really like to work as a psychiatrist or therapist. I really do love listening to people when they need to talk about problems and I enjoy helping them out. So I'm hoping that my career will let me do that :)
