Such a slow day today

I've felt similar today. The only activities I've had have been in my own discussions nd one of those was very active last night and still is today. Others are not very interesting to me right now or at least most of them. I haven't looked very hard today though because I've been really busy trying to promote my other sites and work in those as well. I've found sometimes there is a lull in myLot and that is when I try to create a good discussion that I will enjoy tlaking on for awhile.

I think I personally am burned out with all the activities I've been involved with this past few weeks. Then myLot wasn't sending notifications and that affected the way I used myLot, so I just quit until the emails started coming again. Then two discussions about the lack of emails were deleted, and I'd responded briefly to both, since I knew they'd probably get deleted. I tend to answer only the discussions that have less than one page of responses, since I don't have time to read several pages before making my own response. That means I look at the most recent notifications and try to answer those. It averages out so that I hit most of my most interesting friends in a week or two at least once. I dropped notifications for friends that rarely posted discussions I wanted to respond to. A lot of what gets posted I simply can't relate to, and if I have nothing to say, I figure it's better to keep quiet. Some days I am more active that others here. Normally I come here when I'm two tired or burned out to do more serious writing on the paying sites.

I agree with you that some days discussions are more and more interesting than on other days. But if I want to do some work here on those dyas, I check on older discussions. Many times I don`t respond a discussion that is interesting because I don`t have the time. If you check at older discussions, ou may find what you want.

hello friend, yes ,this happens many times, we loose interest if it happens quiet often. Sometimes i feel very lazy to write any response, but if i find any good topics,then feel very active with fresh mind i starting working here. If i dont get any responses,that too makes me sad. i come and check often ,as a mad fellow. If i find atleast one response in the particular time , i feel so happy and my mind starts working.

Hi friend, welcome back to mylot. Some times we will get late replies to our topics, so wait for some time you will get a lot of replies to your posted topics and place your comments to them. I am also busy with my offline activities and not very much active here for a while. Recently i am active with this site and have more fun with my friends

This is the first I've been on mylot since I woke up (it's getting close to time for me to go to bed), so I wouldn't know about how busy mylot has or hasn't been. But the day in general was a very slow day for me. I just could not get my day started for hours. And after what little work I had to do, my day was over. It also Monday, though. The first day of the week is hard for a lot of people. My first day of the week is on Tuesdays, but for everyone around me, it's Monday, so I'm affected, too (haha). Maybe the position of the sun and the moon made this Monday extra Monday-ish. (haha!) Who knows. But the beginnings of the weeks are always the worst. Especially after a long break my city just had. haha.

yes, some days are more busy than others it also depends on the people posting. Sometimes there are a lot of discussions but you can't find anything you can relate to.

I run into this issue a lot when I come onto mylot. There's days where a bunch of people our posting discussions and days there's nothing at all. Most of the time I have trouble responding to discussions because I never know what to reply back but I do read thru them. I haven't had a chance to get on here today you're my first response of the day. I'm hoping I can do a few more before I go to bed. The only chance I get to get on here the most is on the weekends. Hope you're able to get more post to reply to tonight.

There has been some issues with mylot for a little while.. But there more to it, I have a discussion talking all about it right now... It is actually a bigger problem if you are a internet explorer user (comes standard on windows xp and windows 7) Hackers attacked the browser so therefore there are many not all sites that have been affected by this.. Back to mylot.. There are many people that do not have a lot of time on here so with all of the problems that are going on I am not surpised with the traffic slowing down.. I also come on and off through out the day and then a couple hours at night..

Sometimes I want to mylot and I look for discussions that interest me but can not find any. Other times, I find several discussions that interest me. The last couple of days have seemed slow. I have begun many discussions and have received many responses to some but then there are others when I received none to very few. Some of these discussions were very pertinent to today's world and, I thought, very interesting. I was really surprised and even a little shocked when I got few responses. I have been on mylot about two years and I have noticed that many mylotters who were very active when I first joined are no longer active. I always wonder what happened.

I’ve been on mylot for about an hour now, court. I’ve just now come to yours on my email list. I think they are slow coming to our email. There are some folks that aren’t getting notifications at all… at least I got an IM recently that asked if I was getting them, and at the time I hadn’t had any for hours. I think they are just slow.

To me, it seems like Saturday mornings are the busiest, of course I have not done any real research on the subject of the busiest times in myLot, but yeah, Saturdays seem the busiest to me. Earlier this (Monday) morning I was looking at the discussions and it seemed to me that things were going a little slow today, now I realize through your discussion here that I was not the only one that was thinking that.
