I still remember when facebook started to became popular in our country in 2008. I am not very knowledgeable about internet matters so I am not interested in opening an account. Almost all of my office mates already have their facebook account and they are teasing me for not having one. I also remember when one of the provincial directors came to our office one day and told me that all of them already have their account while I don't have yet. I just smiled at him and told him that we don't have an internet connection at home. My office mate insisted that she will open an account for me. So in order to avoid further arguments and to stop others from asking why I don't have an account yet, I allowed her to do it for me. But still I was not very active then. She also updates it for me. After several years, I already learned a lot of things aside from social networking. Now, I am the one teaching my friends about online activities most especially on how to earn money online. There are also times that I find it hard to teach them. It seems it is very hard for them to understand. But I don't give up on them. Sometimes I just notice that I keep on repeating the same instructions over and over. Well, life's like that. Who would think that the one who don't want to open a facebook account then will be the one teaching them to work online? Have a nice day everyone!

That's normal for us who are humble. We won't pretend ourselves knows everything even we don't know how it works. I joined myLot first before facebook. I signed up myLot on February 2008 while facebook on the 2nd week of March 2008. That time all my time I spent it here. April I got my first payout. When I knew myLot was paying, I never visit facebook until I was about to left the Philippines for work abroad.

Hi july! That is a different story! You know the generic name of internet in our place is facebook, he he. If they would like to ask if you go online, they would ask did you facebook today? There was a time actually that I passed by the window of an office and I saw that the computers were all turned on to farmville. But I am really different because when I first got my laptop last 2011(this is the first thing that I bought from my salary in the government service), the first thing that I planned is how I could earn money from it. I was always being invited by the higher officers to help them in their trainings using my laptop. And I really enjoy it. That was just after election when they have to conduct trainings for the newly elected officials regarding governance. After that, I decided to look for an online job. And just found myLot several months ago. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Yes you are right july! Actually, the higher officers of our main office, doesn't know about the employees' activities at first. But after several months, the higher officers joined facebook too. The employees invited them and that is their biggest mistake! Now facebook is banned in the main office but not on field offices. MyLot found me... Gosh I really don't remember. I am trying to sign up every site I came across with before. Hope somebody from here can tell me if he/she is my upline. Is there a way to know who referred us? But I'm sure I was not invited by anybody that I know personally. Have a nice day!

Part of me wishes Facebook hadn't been invented, mainly because I feel it was facebook that robbed me of a valuable friendship that I've just recently lost. My friend and I have been friends for 9 years, but now all she does is spend her entire life on Facebook, everything goes on facebook what she does, she doesn't go out, I had to find out a few things about her which she should I felt as a friend told me first but no Facebook had to know about it first! I just couldn't compete, I lost out to Facebook. I hardly ever use Facebook, I don't see the big attraction. What I do is my private life not for the world to see. Maybe it's my age that I feel this way but why Facebook has to take up so much of a person's time?

Oh, that's sad. But why not join her? If you think that she spend lot of time with facebook, you can also do the same, this way you can join her for the thing she love to do. Have a nice day!

Hi friend! So there are also a lot of networking sites before facebook? I am really not update by the time internet became popular because we don't have an internet connection. Oh yes I remember when I was still studying there are already some internet shops around the school. But I cannot go there because my allowance is very limited. Well, it's better late... and doing well at it. he he Have a nice day!

Facebook made our life narrower and simplier. Though there are some negative impacts but it outweighs the negative ones. I never thought FB will go this far. I hope it will remain for a couple more years or even decade, as it makes new and fresh ways to present things and updates. Good luck to Facebook for the years ahead. Good luck to all of us. Thanks

Hi mikyung! Yes the problem is not with facebook but to those who are using it. If everyone would be more responsible, I think everything will be okay. Have a nice day!

Hi friend, good to hear about your fb story. As you mentioned your friend opened a fb account for you and updating your status, do you know the password? It is really hard to explain online earning methods to others, since different kind of sites have different concept and earning method, we can learn a lot of things from our own knowledge and experience

Yes she did it for me. So the description I have for myself was really an opinion from her. She gave me the password but during those times, I don't have time to update it. So I asked her to update it for me. But that was several years ago. After that I was the one updating it. Yes, besides we have different interests that is why I could not force others to join me here because they also have different interest. It's not that they are lazy or what. So I can somehow say that those who are doing great with online activities, especially those who came for earning purposes and enjoy it, have things in common. Thank you for sharing!

During the advent of facebook, I was active on friendster yet. I signed up in facebook but I didn't know what to do on facebook. I just observed my daughter who was already very active on facebook, asked her about facebook and so on until I already became addicted to it. Then it became monotonous already. However, I still open facebook because I wanted to be updated with respect to the activities of my fb friends who are my personal friends and relatives.

I have mixed feelkings about Facebook too. I only opened one myself because my daughter urged me to in order to keep up with the family - all of whom were FB enthusiasts. So I frequently tune in to their sites and try to understand what they are writing about, but I have come to the conclusion that there is such a thing as Facebook Speak and I don't understand the language. My greatest pleasure is not in seeing people's lives through FB but when one of my relatives or friends actually send me a nice long email. Congrats on learning so much about life online, you must be one very determined woman.

Hi friend! Yes I also admire facebook because aside from it can be a good place for promotion, this is also a place where I can communicate with my classmates, friends and relatives. Actually, we also use it to update our officemates on matters regarding our job. It is also a big help for us. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice day!
