Now DWTS is unfair to at least one whole time zone

So because of the Presidential Debate, DWTS was on at 9 pm in the Mountain time zone and not at the regular time of 7 pm. But ABC neglected to take this into account when it came to voting. I called while the show was still on and got the message that the time for voting was closed. So they must have closed the voting before the show even came on. Now I don't know what happened in the Central and Pacific time zones but as always the Eastern time zone gets preferential treatment.

I vote online through their website. You can do that for a long time afterwards. I don't like that they split up the dancing. I know they didn't have much choice with the debates, but it's just weird. We could vote for anyone last night, and we can vote for those same people tonight. It just doesn't make much sense. But I thought the group dance at the end was awesome.

I tried to vote on line the next morning since I didn't have time late at night. After I finally found my log in information that I hadn't use in a while, I tried to log in and they treated it as a new registration and said I would get an email with a verification link. Well even some time later, I had not received the email. When I finally got it the link failed. Of course by then it was too late to vote on line anyway.

It seems like every new season I have to have them send me my login. At least they didn't kick anyone off this week and you'll have the chance to vote next week. By the way, were you as impressed with Shawn and Derek like I was? They did the Celine Dion song from Titanic. I thought they were awesome. And I liked the dancing from Call Me Maybe team way more than the Gangnum style group.

I tend to vote online also, as Pacific Time Zone and voting has been a problem before. Its unfair when somebody goes home and not all the time zones get to vote after seeing them. Yes, sometimes I just vote for my favorite team without seeing the performance to help them stay another week. I know there have been some close votes.
