hi guys ! I always liked staying awake at night, its so calm and peaceful. I used to study late nights when I was a student; and now when I have a job, i work in night shifts and I prefer working during the night. when i leave for office at night and come back from work early in the morning there is very less traffic on the road. no getting stuck in traffic jams after hectic work. also if i have any work at bank, govt offices etc, I dont have to take an off. i can manage by sleeping less and finishing that work. moreover i hate noons. dont know how people work during noons after lunch. the bright sun makes me lazy. so guys what do you have to say. would you prefer working during the day or night ?? Please Comment. Thank You

SO you have a different like than us working people in the daytime likes. I think as you are accustomed to always staying awake at night, of course you will like night shift kind of job. That's good because i suppose you are in a call center job. But as for me, i prefer to work day time, because my eyes and body is accustomed to sleeping at night, after a day's work.

not exactly! i used to stay awake during the day and sleep at night. but during my engineering i discovered i can study and grasp better at night. and i dont work for a call centre. its a software solution co. we have both night as well as day shifts. but i choose to wprk in night shift. when i joined initially, i dint have choice, but to work in day shift because all supervisors and managers are present during the day. but now that i've grown. i have the freedom to choose my work timings.

When I was still in college I also prefer studying and doing my work during the wee hours of the night until dawn because it is so peaceful and quiet that I can finish a lot of stuff. But I don't think I can do it as a regular work schedule every week. I still prefer sleeping at night.

I admire you, as I can never be energetic at night, in fact, I can never stay up late, every night when it's about 9 o'clock, I can't make my eyes open, I know it's time to go to bed. I never sleep after 9 o'clock. I have energy during the day, especially in the morning, at noon, I need a nap, it will be about 1 hour, or I will feel tired in the afternoon and can't concentrate on my work. Thanks for sharing, and have a nice day and night.

Hi there. Oh. You sound like a vampire. lol. Just kidding. If I were to ask, I would rather work in the morning till night so I can relax myself in the evenings. And I can meet my friends as well too after work. I can have enough sleep and I won't be adjusting too much. :)

No it is better to work in day time because our mind is adjusted accordingly. So, we have to work as per nature.

hi ! thanks for responding. I read it in a medical artical that there are 2 types of perople. one who feel activ during the day and the others who feel active during night and there is nothing wrong in it. most of our scientists worked in their lab at night.

I work at night and I am happy that way. When I leave for work everything is very quiet and never get stuck in traffic because there are very few other cars at that time. During the days it takes age to cross the bridges between my island and the neighbour islands, but at night I hardly ever have to wait. If I have an appointment or another meeting during the day I don't have to take the day off. I don't work during the day so it is not a problem to find time for appointments or meetings, I just go to bed a little later. If I don't have things that I need to do I go to bed when I return from my work, and sometimes it hard to sleep during the day especially during the summer months when the weather is hot, but I think that it is only problem that I experience.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well working in different shifts depend entirely on a person. There are many who are not late night type of guys and cannot resist themselves to stay awake and rather they doze off, in the same way some guys prefer staying awake late night and have a good sleep in the morning. In my opinion, both the shifts have their own share of advantage and disadvantage. Even working at late night shifts wont go well with our body.
