Getting paid for uploading Photos !

Yesterday I read an article on uploading photos and getting paid for it. I am really interested in making a foray into this way of making money, but am all at sea how to go about it. Can someone throw light on how we can upload photos that we take with a camera onto the internet site that pays for it? Do we need any special type of camera to get quality pictures? And is the pay consistent enough to do it on a regular basis? If anyone is doing this work, could you share some useful tips as to the sites that pay reasonably and well?

I see a few sites that pay you to upload photos, but I also see you need to get views of them.

Yes this is true. This is where twitter and facebook comes in. Having many friends will also be of help. Just like with some writing sites, you need to promote you work. For me staying on this site is really enjoyable because I began to appreciate the photos which I had taken several months ago and just keep it for myself.

Hi discuss! I am currently working on a particular site that pay for uploading photos. Photos should be original. I am new to this site but I have encountered several members who have been members for several years,say 4 or 5 years and they are doing good. So I'm sure the site is good and I really enjoy it.
Actually I am not a very good photographer and I don't have any formal schooling regarding this matter. My camera is just an ordinary one but it doesn't matter. Although I am planning to buy SLR so that I could be able to get better pictures. As of now I am happy with my achievements being there for several days. Hope I have enlighten you on this matter.

I also read two or three discussions here about earning money from photos but no one is share the link on which site we can upload photos and earn the money. I have lots of various festival photo with family so I think no camera is need me.
