which is best os for surfing...?

when i had started using internet,it was windows but with time i like to use ubuntu than windows. why i like ubuntu - no need of anti virus, it as better security than windows and never freezes. but still i use windows since certain software run only on windows. which is the best os for you...

Mac is seems great. However, I really don't have a Mac OS so I am judging only bout appearance. I have Windows operating system, so I am more accustomed to using it. Also, a lot of resources can be gathered for Windows information. Another thing is that my computer at the office uses Windows operating system too, making me more inclined to using it. I have used Linux before but I believe it is not as user friendly as Windows. But you are right, not much threats on viruses operates with Linux systems and it is free!

I have tried to installed mac on my PC and was successful until I got a hardware error after using it for an hour! Mac supports only certain hardware and not all like windows...

Yeah, compatibility issues will most likely limit a lot of programs to run in Windows only. That is why Windows is the popular choice of operating system.

Swapping from Windows to Ubuntu really needs adjustment. You will meet many differences. But I guess once you get familiarized well with Ubuntu, you will be satisfied with it. But for the meantime, I still prefer Windows OS. Good day!

Ubuntu is good if you are a Greek but still some time I prefer more user friendly interference than Ubuntu like android.

I use Windows 7 Ulimate to surf online and until now I haven't encountered any major problems with this OS. However, it do crashes every now and then but does not affect my files to get currupted. I use Windows 7 with Mozilla firefox to surf online and I have so far had no problems with it.

I hate when Firefox freezes in windows, it always happens once in a day. So I prefer to use Linux for an uninterrupted browsing...I am looking for any other OS which is better than Linux

My personal favorite OS for browsing purpose is Red Hat Linux. I have use Windows 98, XP, ME, 7 and 8. And after using all I feel Red Hat Linux is best among all.

I used windows since I had my first computer. I heard about Ubuntu but never really got around to try it. I tried linux once but didn't like it because I can't install my printer.

Gamer's mostly use windows because most games are build for windows platform. For everyday uses such as net surfing, in office ubuntu is way better than windows. Because it has less boot time, Less affected by virus. Happy mylotting!
