lol yesterday we were over at my brother-in-law ( my hubby's brother) he showed us cellphones that he got on plan but he does not intend to use because he already have samsung s3, he was just after the sim..
Anyways, he was telling my husband to sell the phones - samsung pocket and an alcatel smart phone.. hubby was kidding around and telling him not to sell it and rather give it lol..and his wife was also saying yes why sell just give it and my hubby mentioned it will be my birthday today lol so he hand the smart phone to me! hahah to my delight he gave it.. hubby has ways of doing that hahaha..
but i know BIL does not mind actually, as well he really do not need the money
then we stayed for the day, the wife brought some spring rolls too and it was a good day to spend the one day holiday.

yes was even using it this morning, a bit confusing from my normal phone lol but getting used to it. my kids tho were having a blast because of the different apps.

Sometimes family is more important than money. It was a nice present and I hope it really made for a good birthday. From your story it sounds like your husband has a really nice and fun family. Enjoy.

Thank you GG, yes i actually does not have any complaints with my husband's family..they really want us to strive harder at the same time help us too.. the wife was even coaching me on some investments even..

I think that's a wonderful gift! hehehe..I think it's nice of your brother-in-law to give the phone to you.. I am on plan too and the loyalty phone just came and since I got a good phone I gave mine to my brother, same as yours Alcatel Glory. Hehehe..
Anyhow, be sure to thank him and take good care of the phone!

Yes, it's an Alcatel Glory phone. :) Enjoy! Do make sure that you save your files to the memory card (there's a setting for it) because the default setting is to the sim - which eventually makes it very slow if you don't change the file saving locations.

somehow being close to the family is quite helpful for us and they really do help us especially with my husband, their intentions are all good for us.. their family is quite stable and secure and they also want us to be that way too.

That's a pretty useful birthday gift! With a funny story as well. If I have an extra gadget as well and I am not needing the money that bad, I would rather give it to a family member as well. afterall, we can always buy another gadget, or earn the money, but family is important and will always be.
