...does self-advertisement work?

I guess I am tired of waiting around for a response from future clients. I noticed that same are trying to self-advertise themselves and their skills on the same page where employers look for potential employees. I don't how this works when almost people in those pages are actually looking for work and not looking for another competitor for the job. Anyway, i might take the plunge if I get rejected or no repressions

That could be tiring, I know. But patience is the key. Try being on other sites instead of posting and concentrating on a single site. That would surely increase your chance of being chosen. Good Luck!
