Learning English online?

If you wished to learn English on-line where would you look for a tutor? Would you seek to learn one-to-one or in a group? all the best, urban

Hello, If i would decide to learn English, i guess I would just take a basic courses on-line and then just start to surf thought English websites and learn the language myself :).What about you? Happy myLotting!

Well learning trying to learn a language without help is hard, I admire people that can manage it. So you wouldn't be prepared to pay for tuition? What about the basic course, would that be something you might pay for. I am interested if people are more likely to pay for basic or advanced courses all the best, urban

There are some non-native speakers preferred to have the English class in one-on-one, since you can see the way the teacher enunciate the words.

Maybe there is someone who can speak English well who would give some lessons online but I would prefer to study in a small group where I live. In Sweden we have some distance study groups and the lessons are free, even at university level. I guess joining a school group to learn the basics is the best. I have had the opportunity to learn English at school for many years and at the distance courses we met a few times a year and practiced the language. The years on the Internet have helped to add to the vocabulary - I still go to the translation sites to make sure that some words are correct and correctly spelled. Discussing at myLot and writing on different sites has helped me to learn the language - here in myLot we can actually talk to each other as much as we wish!! All the best..
