i was being awakened by an intensity 6 magnitude earthquake at 2:00 o'clock dawn since the last time i experienced it few months ago. so as at first, i felt scared and nervous because of that quake. just being thankful that it occurred and appeased just as quick as few seconds. i do know what is the indication of that. they all said that if there is an earthquake the weather goes changed. and to say, it is raining hard in our place now. gosh, scared of the thought for having a little phobia when i experienced in a third level of the building. did you had an experienced such like mine? what time and how scared you are? what would be in your mind as it happened like that? share it here thanks

Hello missjahn, that's really sad this is something dangerous for your community. the media should focus on this and report it to the people so that the relatives who lives there would be aware of the situation.. better be vigilant and have some clothes ready for you to prepare.

Thanks for sharing friend missjahn I live in Sambalpur, in india, Asia's longest earh dam, Hirakud dam is here, built over river Mahanadi; they have selected this spot because this doesnot fall under earthquake zone.. Long back in 1956 we had a mild earth quake

Although in the Italian region where I live, is not particularly seismic, I must say that in recent times, even in my country came strong earthquakes. What has killed more people, it was the spring of 2009 in the city Dell 'Aquila. (Perhaps you too would have heard of it). Reading the news, however, even the threads of those who post here on Mylot, it would seem that the phenomenon of the earthquake, is now in the world, an event that repeats every day unfortunately. Where you live, dear friend, in the Philippine Islands, I have heard many people who are under torture of earthquakes. Scientists say that already many years ago would have predicted these dramatic scenarios. I totally understand your concern, partly because like I said, it seems that the Philippines is just a particularly plagued by earthquakes.

Thank God you're safe my friend from that earthquake. Don't forget to pray always. Feel the presence of God. I really don't like experiencing an earthquake. I experienced it last March and that was hell. I didn't see that coming. I just can't describe how scared I was. I thought I am going to die.

hello missjahn yes just like you I had experience earthquake during my childhood and the past years. I was 3 when the 1990 killer earthquake happened in Baguio since we are near Baguio a lot said that it was like the end of the world, though I couldn't remember anything. When i was in first year high school a little quake suddenly disturb our prayer after our recess. the bad thing happened was we all ran to get out of the building and so our adviser/teacher was the first to got out. She was hurt because some of my classmates ran after her, pushed her and the worst part is our adviser had a little wound on her knee after the incident.

that earthquake in baguio is familiar to me. i read a love true story novel about twins who fall in love with one man. when the other twin who used to be the wife of the man had amnesia, the other twin played as she pretended to be the wife of the man. since they are so identical in appearance, the man did not recognized it until one day, the true wife overcome and get healed with her sickness so she claimed the husband back by making any moves as she proved that she is the legal wife between her and her twin who pretended to be one. so the rest is a story to be told :) gosh, i also experience same thing when i was in high school too. but the difference was: as we told our teacher that there is an earthquake, she calmed us down and she is the first one who get her bag to get out in the building. we laughed at the incident because our teacher saved herself first and wanted to leave us because of panic. we were just glad nothing terrible happened thanks for joining :) and sharing your experience :)

We had a few earthquakes some years ago. Minor ones. I never experienced them back in Holland. I was not really afraid. My thoughts were more about things that can fall and break. But 6 is a strong one. And being on the 3rd floor must be frightening!

really, the fear is excruciating unexplainable making us want to collapse. but we must be strong and stay calm or else we will get fainted by fear and not by the earthquake itself. but after the earthquake, since we have an affair during that in time in the gymnasium, some of the students have the spirit to eat still but me, even i am a little bit hungry, what i want to do is to go home and see what happened to my family during the shaking of the ground.

it was being aired in the flash news only in a national television. but i guess, it is not somewhat important because it occurred only to one part of the philippines regions like in caraga. yes, we must be careful because this kind of calamity for its effect is dangerous. thanks prashnu
