Why is Farting so Funny?

Farting is funny if done at the most unexpected moment. Like my grandmother has farting problems but she thinks no one can hear it went on a elevator with me and cut one. The elevator was full and at first I was embarrassed although no one knew I was with her. She stood there looking up like nothing happened.
And it happened my eyes meet with a beautiful lady who cracked a smile that caused me to burst out then everyone was laughing but my grandmother who was highly upset when the doors open she wanted to go back home. So I had to take her as she turned towards the elevator again I was going to the stair way she turned her head and asked where was I going. I told her not on the elevator and the crowd went into a roar again!
I felt bad but you can't be freestyle with your butt trumpet like that.

farting in the elevator. Can be fun for you but not for the others - at least as soon as the gases progress to their noses lol
why is farting funny. Hmm, good one. Asked myself the same question. Perhaps because sounds should come out of our mouth not out of our a$$. Or maybe because the sounds sound so strange and funny. Flatulence can be quite nasty though if you have eaten something that makes you constantly fart. Besides the smell your underpants will take on a different color, usually a darker tone.
you know the farting preacher? Ich kuent trone vuzze!

I think everybody should fart once in a while. Be it on a dry party to lift the spirits. Be it to make room in an enclosed spaces. Or simply to release pressure that has built up in your intestines for hours. And if mixed with other smells it may even have a refreshing/ aromatic effect on others (if they haven't noticed the revealing sound)

Now it's getting out of control! I farted just reading you're post and it was hard to because I was laughing and things got difficult for a second there. you should definitely write a book on the subject I would buy it. Matter of fact I would give my grandma 1!

hi today I am laughing at your reaction and yes its partly embarrassment and partly fu nny bu t I hate to laugh at someolne as they cannot helpo ot as its
'an involuntary movement not planned. people should be more forgiving I thijk'and not make a person embarrassed like t hat.

The laugter came because there was two crazy people on the elevator at the same time me and the beautiful lady on the other side of the elevator. When our eyes met and we had four floors to go it was over. I think if a pregnant lady was there her water would have broke. If there was only one crazy person on the elevator then things would have been fine and she probably would have farted on someone else but...

Yeah but she seems to specialize in awkwardness. When she is around her friends it doesn't happen but family she never makes it to the bathroom. I'm use to it now so I learn how to handle the situation and warn my friends if they are around and it somehow makes people day in public on occasions.

I'm laughing my .ss off... butt trumpet... I've never heard that, but it's really funny :). Anyways, farting is funny when it's sudden (like no one would expect it) or when it's exceptionally loud. Sometimes we even laugh to cease the tension, but there are some people who misunderstand it, like your grandma. And yes, there are places where you just should keep it in. Especially your grandma should be aware of that it can be heard... I think this instance was a lesson for her in that, I guess.

You see Doroffee, you made me spit my drink out! You made me laugh again. She knows whats going on she is rich sorta speak and have her good senses so there isn't anything that should be wrong. Her kids are doctors and lawyers which there is a party or something going on all the time. It doesn't matter what here status is but to give a visual sense. She will cut one at any moment but if here friends are around for 10 hours not one deadly assassin.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well farting is funny if it happens unexpectedly. Obviously farting is an involuntary action which is not there in our hands. We should try to fart not for playing any prank or to annoy anyone. Everyone fart and we should not take it lightly especially when we are in a large gathering or an important place as it might make people very uncomfortable. Now good that u coaxed your grandmother otherwise she would have been very much upset after that incident.

I know she doesn't much care for the most part just at that one moment she was hit with the slightest embarrassment. Then it turned into anger which was her real problem with the situation. If I had did something like that she would have laughed at me still but it didn't work that way for her.
