A Gift to You

There are people whom we will meet and will pass our lives and there's a continuing stream of people who go through our lives and continue with us but no one stops and stays. Some people just aren't meant to be in our lives forever. We are not always given a choice. Some do. Some don't. Some can't. We just have to love them while with them and while wecan and learn whatever we are meant to from them. People come and go to bring us something- a blessing or a lesson we need to learn and they will teach you something about loving, caring, understanding, giving, and forgiving, that is - a gift to you. What is your opinion about this?

yes friend ,it is a continuous process in life, we just meet some people just may be for few days or minutes but still feel we have some strong bond with them but still may not be able to be with them may be we are not meant to be, and sometimes we are with people for many years but we cannot connect with them. The chemistry misses. Some are true gifts in our life, we cherish them or their memories through out our life. But some are just like wind they come and go. I agree , we learn many things good or bad from all the people. Its a gift .

It's nice you bring up this kind of discussion. Indeed, we must treasure every people who come to our lives. We never know tomorrow they will leave us. Sad but reality it is. Also, if you don't want to regret in the end, do anything to show to every person how much you care to them. Make the most out of it while there still time.

That is definitely true. Let us not take for granted the people we love, rather treat them well, for in the grave one cannot show love anymore. Thanks for your response.

Plenty of people cross our way, pass by. Many we only know for short have a way bigger influence on our life as the family who is always there or the best friend for life. I think it depends on the person if he/she will remember that person, that 1 day butterfly or not. I frequently have way more and longer (good) memories from people who I just met once or a few times as those who stayed. If it's a blessing like you state is a personal thing too. I can't say that I love all those people who did give me (a lesson or..) something. Since love is a complete different thing/feeling for me. I also would not use that word that easily. Also I would not say we need to love everybody or I don't see the need to do so. Respecting, appreciating other people is a good thing, perhaps even better, as well.

Thank you for sharing this discussion friend..:) Yes life is a journey, people may come and go. Life teaches us to be strong whether it's a blessing or a lesson we need to keep it because it gives us an inspiration to go on. Have a great day

Don't you ever regret knowing someone in your life. Good people will bring you happiness, while bad people will give you experience. The worst people will teach you a lesson in life and the best people will give you memories to cherish. While we often have no choice who we meet in our life but as always we have the choice whom to love and respect. Everything happens for a reason. Every person we meet will have a role in our life be it small or how big it is. Some will betray us, hurt and make us cry to make us stronger and wiser. Some will teach us lessons in life not to change us but make us realize our mistakes and help us grow to be a better person. And some will just love us and give us inspirations and make us happy. They are all a gift to me and to you... Have a nice evening. Ciao!

I guess because I have travelled for a living for the past 15 years, that I may have been that person who passed through someone's life. I would like to think that those I touched hava a fond memory of me, but I don't know. I, too, have so many people who have been in my life. Some for a short time, others for a long time. Each person has been a blessing to me and I count each of those encounters as something positive...whether they loved me, taught me a lesson, or just tried to remain aloof.
