They really did a sequel to Machete...Most of the ones in the original are still in the movie, gladly.. there's also Amber Heard, Sofía Vergara and Mel Gibson. Here, Machete is recruited by US to battle through Mexico to take down an arms dealer who is gonna launch a weapon into space. seems nice.

It's kinda funny how it all started from a fake trailer included with Grindhouse. People demanded the full movie and now it's even getting a sequel.

YEah, they showed quite a lot of fake trailers for grindhouse.. I did not like Machete that mcuh and ven scanned on some scenes, but i will give it a second chance..

machete Kills is the title of the sequel, i think they are showing it next year, they have added some new stars.. big ones. I just hope the story is better and makes more sense than the first.

I watched the first movie and the gore is over the top, remember this is the first movie where Jessica Alba embraced being a Mexican because throughout her career she is passing as White and even try to deny her Mexican roots. I remember her insisting she is an American girl through and through despite of looking so ethnic. I remember how over the top the violence of the first movie is so I hope this one wont disappoint.

Yeah, the violence was quite over the top, but it is a gore film.. but the effects of the gore was not very good.. quite fake looking.. I always thought Jessica Alba was American. When i looked it up, it said she was Mestizo Mexican, French and Danish.. very mixed.

ahh i just commented about this sequel in your other discussion about MacHete 1.. Mel gibson?wow ..what is he doing there ..latino hate guru? lol is this out yet? MACHETE KILLS..cool retro sounding title..lol..will seek out.

I guess so.. he may be the main villain in the next film.. I think it will be out next year, just giving people a heads up, for those who enjoyed the first one..
