But there was a problem. When I entered my credit card number to add my debit card on paypal, there was a note saying that my card was denied by the bank.
What happened? Did I do something wrong? What should I do? Have you encountered the same problem in the past? Please help, thank you.

i should be asking the bank, i think my debit card has expired so i had to clarify it. too bad i had to wait until monday argh

I got same problem with you when I add my credit card number on paypal account to verified my paypal account. It make me upset. And I call my bank and their staff told me that I was out of credit limit. Well, I thought that staff right. I have to pay my loan first to my bank and next month, I can verified my paypal account

I think u have done some mistakes while selecting ur account type or u may have wrongly entered ur credit card number.

I tried all the numbers i saw on the card. the credit card number is 16 numbers right?
I ought to go back to the bank to clarify this.

As far as i know Paypal don't allow most of the indian debit cards even it has Visa seal on it. But you can link your any of the indian bank account and recieve payments through paypal. Sadly, sending payments through paypal is a hard job for we india. So it is must to have a credit card to shop via paypal.
