The order is "partially"dispatched..

I order clothing from asos website sometimes because I get my orders delivered with free shipping and the prices are good as well. Yesterday I found a nice offer an d I ordered a pair of new wellies and a nice skirt. The orders are posted the next day as usual so today I logged in to check the status. I noticed a notification saying that my order is partially shipped but I couldn't find any othet info about the shipping, or which of the 2 items were shipped. Has this ever happened to you? From my experince with them I always get one package for each order. Should I contact them and ask what's going on? I am afraid that they aren't going to deliver the package on time.

I have heard of ASOS but I am not sure of where there headquarters are or where any warehouses are. It could be that because of Hurricane Sandy some of your order won't be sent until a little later. I know that there is one site I order from that always seems to deliver items separately but they are very speedy at doing it. They send me several emails though and I always know which is on backorder. Just email the company and ask them about what is on backorder.

Thank you, I will send an e-mail today. It's a British site, I think it's based in London. All of my orders were sent in one shipment so far and I was worried. I always get the standard shipping without tracking number because it is free, or else I will have to pay extra. But they have a good policy and the one time that delivery was delayed, they told me to wait for a couple of days or I will get refunded. Thankfully, it arrived 2 days later. I am going to send that e-mail, thanks a lot!

No problem. I really wouldn't worry about it too much, if they are normally good about delivering it, this should be no different. Just because it's coming separate doesnt' mean it won't be speedy. I got my most recent order that was separated, within two days of each other.

I would wait and see when the partial order arrives. Sometimes an item may not be in stock or they have so many orders to fill they ran out. Usually they will ship the missing item shortly after because they want to satisfy their customers. The slip in the package will state what was shipped with a reason why the other item was not. If it doesn't then I would call and find out what happened to the second half of the order.

I had a second e-mail this morning about the second part of the shipment! Again, they didn't specify which item was sent first but I am going to wait and see, as you suggested. I suspect that the wellies were delayed because they were on an offer for only 3 hrs so maybe something happened with the stock. I just hope they have sent the correct sizes and items because the wellies will be too heavy and I'll have to pay a fortune to return them!

Hi, One or the other items must have been shipped first, that may be the reason. The dealer should be more specific about which is which. We are always left hanging in the dark after an online deal, will it come or not? The downside of it all. One reason, I don't take online ordering that much. Online browsing of a product do help, researching on an item, price leads, trends and so on, the only consolation for me.

Yes, I suppose they have sent one item now and they'll send the other item soon. I am thinking that the wellies must be heavier and have their own packaging, so maybe this is the reason! I haven't ordered shoes before! I order online because I find great offers and up to 70% discounts for good quality items. Size is an issue but I have measured my analogies and I have found what fits me after the first order! Unfortunately I don't have a big mall near my house and I can't shop when I want to, unless I go to the city nearby! So internet qorks well! Tgank you for your comment!!

Hey besweet, I would ask you to contact the customer support regarding the issue. Most of the online stores provide a facility to contact them by calls as well as by mails and I would ask you to contact the customer car support by any ways to clarify the doubt regarding it and I am quite sure that they can help you.

I got an e-mail a few minutes ago saying that the second part of the order was also dispatched so I think that they sorted it out. I won't be certain though until I actually receive both items!

Happens to me here alot. I order alot of things online for my cafe form the usa. And sometimes get them shipped in 2 or 3 diff. shipments. Good thing is I always get free shipping and discount son them. Have a great day there. Enjoy the items you bought online.

Thank you! Normally, they are going to arrive on the 14th, but I am not sure what will happen now that on of the products was shipped yesterday and the other hasn't been shipped yet. Do you thing it could be a problem with the warehouse or their stock? I just can't find from the links which product is one the way and which one was left behind!USA mus have some delays now due to the hurricane, this company is based in UK but I am not sure where they get the products from! :) Have a great day!
